We arrived at the hospital with all of the supplies we got from the pharmacy and Pvt. Robertson. "You know what private robertson, Im gonna just call you Rob." "I felt my stomach churned. How about we just call him private." "Yea Im fine with you guys calling me that." We came into the room where we left the kids but it was empty, there was only some blood and the window was open. "Where are they!" "I don't know Adam, is that...blood?" We all saw the blood and stood dumbstruck. "Who's blood is that." Im not sure but its blood." There was also a knife that I left with my oldest, Kyle. "Thats Kyle's knife." "Okay so he must have stabbed whoever took them." "Im pretty sure that camp of cannibals is just across town, at the school." "We need to get there now." "Hey what about Minn." Austin kicked him to the ground and put a knife to his throat. "Are you really gonna come between a man and his kids, cause you'll definitely lose." "Okay...okay sorry lets go." "There ya go, now you get it waffle boy." We found a few blots of fresh blood on the way to the school. "It looks like they didn't even try to patch up their buddy." "What if it wasn't one of there buddies?" "We'd better hurry!" About halfway to the school, we found a bike store. "This'll make travel a lot easier." We followed the trail of blood on the bikes until the trail stopped. "What happened to the trail?" And then we heard the moaning and crying. It was Kyle, sitting there in an ally bleeding from his chest. We ran to him and I started crying. "What happened?" "Th...they were tr.. trying to get Thomas so I ran at him and he....." "What is it Kyle?" "He grabbed the knife from my hands and stabbed me, then they said that I lost to much blood and left me here." "Don't worry Kyle, daddy ill get you out of here safe. Now where did they go." "They went to the school." I saw some bumps through his shirt moving away from the wound toward his heart but I payed no attention to them. "Okay, we need to patch him up and then we can go to the school, but we need to work fast." "Okay, just give me a little while I can help, hand me my med kit." "You got it Ash." While Ash was trying to stop the bleeding, we were trying to keep him calm. "It hurts!" "I know it does but you need to stay calm." "Uh guys, Im sorry but I cant stop the bleeding, I cant save him." "Try harder Ashley!" "I..I cant I'm sorry!" And then Kyle died. I burst out crying and started to hug his lifeless body. "Adam get away from him!" And Kyle grabbed me, trying to bite my neck. Austin shot him. "Why did you do that, that was my son!" "No he wasn't Adam, he turned and was trying to kill you." "I didn't ask for you to safe me!" "But I did, and you'll thank me later, now lets go save the others." Im not sure if I can." "Of corse you can Adam, now come on!" "Okay, lets go."
