I was at George's house until we heard a knock, so I opened the door.

"Mila", I greeted. "George, Mila is here!"

"I actually came for you, Jose", she replied.

"Why?", I asked. "Did I forget something at the diner?"

"No, I'm wondering if we can spend time together tomorrow", Mila answered.

"I think your dad told you", I guessed.

"Yes, he did", she confessed. "However, I would also want to"

"What time and where do you want to meet?", I asked.

"When the time strikes 10:00 a.m, meet me at the sweet shop", Mila answered.

"Alright", I replied.

I saw Mr. Burton was at the auto behind Mila, so I waved at him, and he waved back.

"Looks like I need to go now", Mila said.

"Bye", I replied.

"I'll see you tomorrow", she went to the auto while I returned inside.

"You owe me!", George exclaimed and danced. "You owe me, lad, you owe me!"

"Fine, after my time with Mila, I will buy you lunch like what we talked about earlier", I assured him.

"Also, I noticed your voice became different", he noted.

I never noticed my accent transformed from Filipino to British because my accent did not become Australian when I was in Australia.

"You're right", I replied. "I never noticed it became British"

"How?", George asked. "One cannot simply change an accent in one day"

"I guess it's a miracle"

"I guess you are being fake", George replied. "Did you talk to Idalene with am Australian accent?"

"No", I answered.

"Then, how come you got a British accent now?"

"I don't know, but I know I am not faking", I answered.

"There is only one way to prove it: deep breathily"

I did.

"Now, speak again"

"What do you want me to say?", I asked.

Then, we heard my original Filipino accent.

"Tomorrow, I need you to speak with Mila with that accent", George concluded.
