"¢σмραяє∂ тσ мє..."
You're an angel.
Kisame wished he had the courage to say that to the new member's face, but he couldn't... The irony, it made him laugh. He was probably the strongest member in the Akatsuki behind Leader himself, and he couldn't even say six measly words.
A heavy sigh emitted from the blue shark as he overlooked the ocean from where he sat, an old wooden dock no longer used and now owned by the Akatsuki. He always came here when he was in deep thought, but he would've never dreamed in a million years that one of his problems would be a girl... and feelings.
Squashing down the thoughts as far as he could in his brain, he hesitantly stood up to leave the dock, giving one last look to the sparkling surface of the ocean that was undisturbed by ripples as the sun dawned to indicate yet another day's end. And still, no progress in how to advance things with Kawara.
~~~~~~
His thoughts were obviously weighing not only his brain down, but his personality as well, with it being quite obvious to everyone he passed on the way to the room he shared with his partner, Itachi. His expression was no longer light-hearted, and more onto the serious side, something extremely odd on someone like Kisame.
Nobody could be their finger on it, but the more logical and intellectual members knew one thing for sure. It was because of the new member, Kawara Sasaki, he was acting this way. As once she arrived, that was the beginning of his change.
But, the female wasn't the slightest bit aware of that fact. Why? Because, Kisame's smile was always ear-to-ear when she was hanging with the shark, and he just seemed like an entirely new person. She had no idea that on the inside, Kisame was struggling on how to tell Kawara how he felt.
However, the same held true in reverse. Although Kisame was struggling with new-found emotions, Kawara was struggling just the same with long-term conditions. She had always felt she was never good enough for anything, not even the shark, Kisame, who she returned the strong feelings for.
But, he was too good for her, from what she believed... There was no way in the world he would return her feelings, and although her smiles around him were not fake smiles, she was hiding something pretty deep behind them.
"α ωσяℓ∂ σƒ тяυтн... уσυ ηєє∂ тσ ѕтαят ѕσмєωнєяє"
Kawara remains ever silent in her position, her knees up to her chest with her arms wrapped around them and her long brown hair over one shoulder, as she waited the swordsman do his thing on a training dummy. Being a little too lazy herself at the moment, she had agreed to accompany the man to the training room, but not train with him... At least, not yet.
She had a feeling something was bothering him at the moment, but didn't question him up front, deciding to leave the topic alone entirely other than working on it as that was what she tended to do. Kawara didn't even know the blue swordsman was talking to her until she realized she had been staring at him for the last ten minutes.
"Kawara?"
His voice was... soothing to her, and he always found a way to make him smile. That was why she liked him so much. That, and his appealing looks. He was in no way ugly to her, but Kisame thought otherwise.
"Yes, Kisame?"
"Heh, you seem distracted," he began, taking a seat beside the young female on the lone bench to the side of the large training room. "Penny for your thoughts?" he joked lightly, giving a wide smile that revealed his extremely sharp teeth. They were, in no way, intimidating to her though.
