Your POV
The west wall had just been infiltrated as we reached shinjuku. Everyone who didn't have cursed gear were shouting about the vampire extermination unit. They only had enchanted gear so I could see why. We started running to reach the panic.
Yuu: what's going on
Shinoa: didn't you hear what they said, the vampires are attacking
Bombs were dropped onto the building. The structures started to collapse. The bricks began falling and so did the glass.
(Y/n): there they are
There in helicopters, I can't use my gear to track them. The vampires started sending missiles our way. Kimizuki pulled me forward as we all jumped off of the ledge
Kimizuki: shit, this place has turned into a war zone
Mitsuba: the lieutenant warned us about this
More helicopters came lower, firing at us. They're to close for me to even get a good shot at
Yuu: look
Kimizuki: move
We ran behind a hall, trying not to get blown up
(Y/n): we can't stay behind here forever, we have to fight
Yuu: I know
There were 30 or so sets of footsteps heading for us. I saw a few other soldiers with enchanted gear behind the containers. With them we should be able to kill the vampires.
Shinoa: how many?
(Y/n): about thirty
We all ran back out as one of the other soldiers shouted
Mitsuba: come on, we have to help them
I pulled out my gun, switching from a pistol to a sniper. Everyone else went in close. This gave me the chance to stay back and cover. My aim isn't going to be very good without a stabiliser, but I can aim for their calfs. I could probably wing them.
(Y/n): Yuu
He jumped back and the vampire that was once above him fell. I shot him right in the heart
Yuu: thanks
A white piece of fabric just passed me but I can't see the vampire. We're did it go.
Vampire: put the gun down and don't move, (y/n)
Fuck he had me at knife point. I slowly let go of the gun with my right hand. Placing it lower to the ground with my left
Vampire: id slow down if I were you
I threw my right arm back, hitting him in the stomach. He stepped back pulling sword with him. I have to duck quickly and pull my knife out. I did so and stabbed him in the collarbone.
(Y/n): fuck you
Yuu: we're clear
I started walking to the rest of my squad. That was way to close, I need to keep my head out of the clouds. I almost died.
Guy: we're so thankful for your help. You must be a vampire extermination unit right
Shinoa: moon demon company
Guy: you've got to be kidding me, I guess our luck hasn't run out yet. Men ready a transport for these soldiers
Jim: yes sir
We walked with guy to a camp, lots of soldiers were moving what seemed to be rations and other weapons. Lots on men were injured, they seemed to be clinging to life. Kimizuki grabbed my hand slyly, making sure no one in the squad saw
