---Sabrina's POV---
Mama Ro, Mama J, and I were decorating our tree. Mama Ro pulled out an old ornament.

"Awe," Mama Ro stated. "It's from 2021. The year we spent Christmas in Seattle before moving our parents here." Mama J pulled out another ornament.

"And this was from our wedding." Mama J stated. I pulled an ornament out from when I was in grade one. It had all three of our names on it.

"I remember you making that." Mama Ro stated.

"I remember one kid at school asking where my dad was." I stated. "Another kid stated that I spelt 'Justin' wrong."

"I remember the phone call." Mama J stated.

"The look on the one dad's face when we walked in was golden." Mama Ro stated.

"It was 2032," I stated. "You'd think people would be more open minded."

"At least there was progress." Mama Ro stated.

"Remember trying to obtain our marriage license back in 2025?" Mama J asked. Mama Ro nodded. She pulled out another ornament. It was a small picture frame with Mama J and Mama Ro ice skating.

"Your Aunt Jenna got us this in 2024." Mama Ro stated.

"The picture was from when we were first dating." Mama J stated.

"I remember 2020." Mama Ro stated. "So much happened that year."

"I still remember that Christmas." Mama J said. "It was the best."

"Weren't you contemplating your relationship?" I asked.

"Every relationship has a rough patch." Mama J stated.

"Love is a mystery." Mama Ro stated.

"But you're 18," Mama J stated. "So don't expect love so soon. I didn't meet your Mama Ro until I was almost 30 and started dating her until I was 36."

"Now that I think about it," Mama Ro stated. "We were really old at the time we started dating."

"We did live in a strange time." Mama J stated. Mama Ro picked up another ornament.

"Justine?" Mama Ro asked. "Can you check on the cookies?" Mama J nodded and left the room. I looked to Mama Ro.

"Mama Ro?" I asked as I hung my ornament on the tree.

"Yes?" Mama Ro asked.

"How did you know you were in love with Mama J?" I asked. As of late, I have been developing something for Lucas. However, I am not sure what it is. Maybe Mama Ro knows. I'm afraid to ask Mama J.

"Well," Mama Ro stated. "It was the Spring of 2015. Your mom and I were playing some Mario Kart when I started noticing her smile. I immediately fell in love with it. When she started laughing, my heart started pounding. However, because I was dating your Uncle Mike at the time, so I had to lie to myself and everyone else. Why do you want to know?" I hesitated for a moment.

"I was just wondering." I answered.

---Ro's POV---
Sabrina is starting to get to that age where life is harder. Feelings start to get complicated. I understand that. I was her age once upon a time. I remember being the little heart breaker to all the jerks. However, Sabrina isn't me. She's much wiser for her age. More mature. She's my daughter, yes. However, she's more than that. I knew the light in her eyes. It was the same one Justine gets whenever she saw me. It shines brightest when she's around Lucas. How do I know? A mother can tell.... Well, I can tell. I don't know if Justine can. Mind you, I couldn't tell with Justine. It had been over six years before we found out about our true feelings for each other.

~Flashback~
September 6, 2020

"Wouldn't it be nice," I sang. "If we could wake up  in the morning when the day is new? And after having spent the day together, hold each other close the whole night through?" I rinsed the conditioner out of my hair. Honestly, I needed that shower after traveling all day. I get out to see Justine still asleep. She just looked so peaceful. Now how do I wake her up? I thought for a moment. She has been giving me kisses on the head for a while before going to sleep. I had a feeling she liked me back for a couple of days, now I can confirm it. Maybe I can wake her up with a kiss on the cheek. I walked over to the bed, crawled in, and kissed her cheek. Justine woke up.

"What was that for?" Justine whispered.

"I couldn't think of a better way to wake you." I stated. "Plus, don't think I didn't notice you kissing my head at night." Justine sat up and looked me in the eyes.

"I was hoping you wouldn't notice." Justine stated.

"How long have you had feelings for me?" I asked.

"Since we met." Justine replied. I raised an eyebrow. I better tell her how I feel. However, the hotel room wasn't the place to do so. Maybe we should go to Central Park.

"Come on," I stated. "I want to take you somewhere." I grabbed her hand and dragged her out of bed.

"Where are we going?" Justine asked.

"You'll see." I answered, big smile on my face.

~Flashback Ends~

"You know," I said to Sabrina. "Despite what Mama J says, your heart decides when the right time is to fall in love. Love is very, very strange and we can't control it."

"Really?" Sabrina asked.

"Not at all." I replied. "If you told me 30 years ago that I was going to marry your Mama J, I wouldn't of believed you. It wasn't love at first sight for me. Or maybe it was and I didn't realize it."

"How could you not tell?" Sabrina asked. I shrugged.

"I was a fan back in the early 2010's." I stated. "I never registered it as a crush until 2015"

"Oh." Sabrina stated.

"Anything else dear?" I asked. Sabrina shook her head. Justine walked out with the sugar cookies.... Well, they were sugar cookies. Now, not so much. They were burnt.

"So I read the recipe as 350 for 90 minutes," Justine stated. "I added an extra zero." I giggled.

"The one thing I learned from being with Mama J," I stated. "Roll with the punches and make extra dough." I waltzed into the kitchen.

"What?" Justine asked.

"Nothing." I replied. "Nothing at all."
