We could walk forever
Walkin' on the moon
We could be together
Walkin' on, walkin' on the moon
-The Police
I’m so sorry for my random disappearance, it is just that I had exams and a lot of them. I literally studied all day every day for a while so that I could do well. I’ve also spent a lot of my free time laying in bed, eating, and watching my favorite show, Grey’s Anatomy. ANYWAY, Close to the end. I hope you guys have enjoyed this story because it is coming to an end in a few chapters. After this story, I’m gonna start writing in The Masquerade of Heroes which is my new Neymar story. It is not fanficy at all, it has nothing to do with football, just like Midnight Nation. I hate Anyway, enjoy one of the last chapters in the story. Love you all. Ps: Sorry in advanced for the late chapter. Even though I have them written out, I edit them a lot so that they would actually make sense and look better. If you have any questions, ask away in a private message, I will probably post a thing on here for FAQ’s.
Xoxo

“So.” Declain sat across the table and examined Neymar closely. Once he heard the news that his sister was engaged, naturally, he was protective. Although, hearing that his sister was engaged to one of the people that he could not stand, made him not only protective but angry. He despised Neymar. He couldn’t stand seeing Belle gloom and groan around the house for 2 years because Neymar had an attitude. And now he couldn’t stand him more because it had seemed like he was playing mind games with her. Though he wishes he could have a say in things, he doesn’t. Belle was happy, more than happy in fact. Even Aspen seemed to be more cheery seeing her mom more optimistic. Neymar stared back at him and waited for the outburst to come out of the short man and held his breath. After several quiet minutes, Declain let out a loud and unattractive groan that caused both Neymar and Aspen to jump and looked at him questionably.
“I would love to kill you right now.” Declain ducked his head and rubbed the back of his neck. His voice almost came out in a whisper, but they both knew that that was what Declain really wanted. He wasn’t though, for the sake of his sister’s happiness…and because he couldn’t afford to be thrown in jail for homicide. “I would love to just rip your head off and kick it like a football.”
“Don’t rip daddy’s head off!” Aspen ran over to Declain’s side and began to tug at his sleeves. Her lips started trembling and she was seconds away from crying.
“Can you kill the homicide talk in front of my daughter- your neice?” Neymar growled while signaling Aspen to come over to him so that she could crawl into his lap and finish coloring a picture. Once she was preoccupied once again, he spoke up again. “Yes, Declain. Yes, I proposed to the woman that I love, which so happens to be your little sister.” Declain rolled his eyes and his shoulders tensed, but Neymar kept talking. Declain was much shorter and had barely any muscle, he knew that he could take him easily, but he also knew that that would make Belle happy. “I know our past was rocky. I know I might have not been the best influence on her and that I she was in the hospital because of me-“
“Twice.” Declain injected.
“The second time wasn’t my fault.”
“Was to.”
“Was not.”
“Was to.”
“Alright!” Neymar growled unintentionally. “What I am trying to say is that even though the past was pretty gruesome, I still love Belle unconditionally and she loves me.”
Once all those words were said the room grew quiet and awkward once again. Declain broke his eye contact with Neymar and began to pull on each of his fingers until they made a small popping sound. “See Neymar,” after popping all his fingers, he formed them into fists three times. “I don’t think you know about unconditional love. Belle neither.”
“Wha-“
“You’re so quick to say you have unconditional love for her but when she stops stimulating you, you will stop loving her.”
“You don’t know that. I’ve loved her since the first day I met her.” Surprisingly, Neymar kept his cool. At this point, he would have already Declain pinned to the ground having him beg for mercy as he has his arms flailing around as Neymar punches his face strongly. Quickly, he shook that thought away and sighed. If he wanted to marry Belle, he would have to understand that Declain will be in his life forever as well. “Declain, you knew that too. Everyone seemed to know except Belle herself. I think I know what love is by now. We are adults now. Understand that I am what Belle wants and trust that I will make her happy and support her in every way. “
More awkward silence.
“Okay.” Declain spoke quietly. “Okay, I guess I will have to trust you.”
“Thank you..”

Anxiety filled Belle’s body as she walked through the massive horde of paparazzi that continued to take pictures of her. The flashing lights blinded her for a quick second and she could feel herself growing dizzier. Paige ran in from behind and helped Belle and gave her a small push. Now instead of people yelling her name, they were yelling rude things to Paige as well concerning her relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. As soon as they entered the bridal shop, Belle took short, ragged breaths and clutched her chest as she tried to get her breathing back to normal.
“Don’t worry Belley, you will get used to it. Life of a WAG.” Paige grabbed her small friend’s shoulders and squeezed them tightly as an attempt to calm her down. She easily remembered the time when she first had to deal with the paparazzi, and at that time, she and Cristiano weren’t even together.
Just as Belle was calming down, a beautiful older lady shuffled in their direction wearing an overly sized smile that seemed as if they were going to crack her cheeks. “Hello, my name is Anne!” Her high pitched voice caused Paige to twitch, earning a light shove from Belle. “Which one of you lovely ladies is the bride to be?” Her eyes automatically met Belle’s and the growing smile that grew on her face answered her question.
“You are absolutely lovely.” Anne grabbed Belle’s tiny hands and gently pulled her along with her. “I remember speaking with you on the phone and I have already picked some out for you. “ Her arm extended out to the row of gorgeous wedding gowns.
“They are brilliant!” Belle immediately ran over to the one gown that was standing in the middle and ran her hands down the fabric. Her eyes shot back at Paige and smiled excitedly. “Isn’t this perfect? I think it is perfect! Oh my gosh!”
“Try it on!” Both Anne and Paige said simultaneously.
Immediately, Belle grabbed it off the rack and ran to the dressing room. After being delicate and slipping it over her head, the dress flown down and covered her body perfectly. It was tight, but not tight. Her body looked great in it and the lace sleeves made it look elegant. The train of the dress wasn’t too long and she could already imagine Aspen walking behind her holding her train.
Before she was able to put her shoes on so that she could show Paige, a weird feeling overtook her. Her vision blurred and her hearing went in and out. It was almost like she were having a panic attack, but her heart wasn’t racing. She sat down on the floor and place her head in her hands. This has been happening at least a 3 times every week, but she ignored it. They usually lasted a few seconds and went away, which is why Belle was never concerned. After her “spell” ended, she walked out with a small smile. Cheers and squeals of approval rang in her ears and caused Belle to sigh in relief upon gaining her regular hearing back.
“Beautiful, right?” Belle whispered.
They nodded in approval, but Paige held a slight frown. There was something in Belle’s eyes. Something she didn’t like.
