Understanding

Seth just stood there with an expression on his face that neither man wanted to see on his face ever again. He looked dejected and betrayed and for a moment they all just looked at one another, not saying a word.

''Sethie it's not what you think'' Dean finally voiced as he removed himself from Roman's lap

''No, it's fine'' Seth replied ''I get it 'this was it' Seth thought this was the moment Dean and Roman told him they didn't want him, didn't need him ''I'm damaged, I don't blame you both for wanting someone better''

''That's not what this is, Seth'' Roman said ''We still want you''

''I'm confused'' Seth admitted

''Sit down for a second'' Roman insisted

Seth did what he was told as Kevin jumped up beside him

''You know when Dean and I found you in the bathroom that day and you told us you loved us both equally?'' Roman asked

Seth nodded

''Well, that's how Dean and I feel about each other too'' Roman explained. ''I know it's complicated and a lot to take in, but I think the three of us could be great together''

''Like the three of us?'' Seth asked. ''in a relationship?''

''Yeah if that's what you want too'' Roman replied ''We've all got to agree''

''I'm down'' Dean announced

''Baby boy?'' Roman said, addressing Seth ''I know it's unconventional and sudden but-''

''Yes'' Seth had to push all his insecurities and worries aside and allow himself to be happy. He deserved it. ''I don't want to choose between you''

Seth had never seen Roman smile so hard and he didn't miss the way Dean's dimples popped and he smirked either

''I'm not sure I'm going to be up to doing anything intimate yet though'' Seth admitted

They wouldn't want you, anyway

You're disgusting

Once they see your scars, they'll be disgusted

''Then we don't do anything intimate'' Dean replied. ''I'm not sure about Ro, but I've never been with a guy before-''

''Me neither'' Roman confirmed

''So we'll wait for you Sethie, cos you've got to teach us a few things'' Dean smiled as Seth blushed in embarrassment ''I mean I'm not gonna lie, I kinda can't wait to get my hands on you but it's all about consent and I'm not about to pressure you into anything''

Roman looked at Dean disapprovingly. ''Seriously?''

''What?'' Dean asked, looking back at Roman

''Anyway'' Roman said changing the subject ''We haven't even taken you out on a proper date yet''

''You wanna take me out on a date?'' Seth asked

''Of course'' Roman replied, ''You don't get no half measures with me baby boy, I'm a gentleman''

Dean scoffed. ''Oh please, and what's with the 'we'?. When I take Seth out on a date, there ain't gonna be no 'we'. It's just gonna be Seth and I. Isn't that right babe?'' He winked in Seth's direction.

Seth looked away, smiling shyly

The following morning, Dean was the first to wake up. After their discussion the night before, Roman and Dean had settled down on either side of Seth in his bed until he fell asleep. As Dean looked over at a sleeping Roman, holding a slumbering Seth protectively in his arms, he realized that his actions last night resulted from him keeping his feeling for Roman under control for so long. He got carried away and had nearly lost Seth because of it. However, he was pleased that they could work everything out and agree to give a three-way relationship a try. He liked the thought of them all being in a relationship together. When Roman admitted to liking Seth, he thought that he'd be jealous, but he was relieved and he knew why now, because deep down he didn't want to have to choose. He smiled as he remembered when he first started falling for Roman.

*Flashback*
Dean

Dean wished he'd had just told Seth and Roman how he felt about them when it first happened instead of wasting so much time, but he was scared. His feelings scared him because they came out of nowhere. The first time he felt different around Roman was when the older man was changing out of his ring gear one night. He and Roman had changed in front of one another countless times before, but that night he just couldn't tear his eyes away from Roman's body. Roman was all muscle and Dean would never get sick of admiring Roman's sleeve tattoo that perfectly spread across one of his pectorals and onto his back. He knew he probably looked like an idiot, sitting there staring at his best friend with his mouth open, but he couldn't stop. There was something stirring up in his stomach. It felt like need, like want, and it startled him for a moment to think what that meant. Dean's eyes shifted to the floor when Roman turned around and caught him staring. He was a lot more careful after that.

Dean wondered at first how it was possible to be in love with Seth but also have feelings for Roman. He supposed Roman provided something that Seth didn't and vice versa.

''Morning Sethie'' he smiled at the younger man as he sat himself up, rubbing his eyes

''Morning'' Seth replied

''Sleep well?'' Dean asked

''Yeah'' Seth answered. ''Thanks to you guys''

Kevin jumped down off the bed as Roman turned over onto his back, disturbing him

''How do you feel about us going out on a date next week?'' Dean asked as Seth looked a little more awake

''I'd like that'' Seth replied with a smile

''Great'' Dean said with a smile of his own.

Next week they would be in Vegas, Dean's hometown and Dean knew the perfect place to take Seth for their first date
