'Charity'

Weeks past and I haven't heard anything from Mrs. Wilder so I assume they decide to go with Ridgeview Rehabilitation center. Which is a relief really I wasn't exactly looking forward to another friendly chat with Jeston.

I sat down on the fine grass outside the school. I loved the feel of the grass on my toes. Students often came to the big lawn I'm front of our school. It was a great place to chat and hangout, or even have lunch.

The scenery is beautiful too....I still remember how it looked the summer before I lost my eyesight. I breathe in the fresh air, before taking a bite of my sandwich. I hear some distant shouting and scrunch my eyebrows wondering whose shouting.

"Oh...things are getting intense. Everyone's looking at him too...that's so embarrassing." Dani mutters next to me.

"What? Dani...whats going on whose shouting? " I ask.

"Oh right sorry...its Jeston. He's having it out with the coach. And from the looks of it, he's pretty close to snapping." Daniella says, causing a frown to slowly form on my face.

"He must be getting kicked off the team." I guessed.

"It's seems more intense then that, Jeston's face is pretty red right now. And the coach just pushed him back.... Literally everyone on the lawn in watching the two of them and they don't even realize it. They're too busy arguing." Dani said bluntly.

I shook my head, imagining the scene she was describing. Just then I heard gasps coming from multiple people, followed by a defining silence.

"Dani...what happened?" I asked, the curiosity killing me.

"Jeston...he just...he just punched the coach." She said, breathlessly.

To say I was shocked was a understatement. Jeston was known as anything but the violent type. He was the schools golden boy. He had a reputation of being kind and respectful especially towards the teachers.

"He did what? " I asked again, just to make sure I wasn't hearing things.

"He punched coach Dexter right on the face. A few guys are pushing him back...and the principal is coming across the lawn... Oooh he's in big trouble." My eyes widened at Dani's words, because she was right. He could get expelled for this.
************************************

I was sitting in class bored out of my mind. I didn't care much for advanced algebra. Like who even came up with mixing alphabets and numbers like that, it's so confusing.

I was halfway through thinking about chocolate chip cookies. When suddenly I heard my name.

"Charity!" The teacher called.

I quickly sat up straight. This teacher has never really talked to me before. So this situation is quiet strange for me.

"Yes, sir." I replied respectful. Kinda scared because I didn't do to well in this class.

"The principle has called for you. So you are excused." The teacher said cause my skin to crawl.

Billions of questions where going on in my head at once? Did I do something wrong? Why does principle want to see me? What if I trip over someone's foot and die?

I packed up my stuff and stood up.

"Okay...um...sorry sir but could you tell my if my path is clear? I'm visually impaired. " I squeaked nervously.

Why was I so nervous, I'm acting like a criminal. When I genuinely did nothing wrong. 'Nothing that u know of' the evil voice inside my head whispered.
