In the town of South Philadelphia, it is a really nice place. I loved to stroll the streets and my
favorite place to go was Geno's Steaks, with my family. Nothing happens around here, like major
deaths, just natural ones, small accidents and "safe schools". At least teachers think that, but
there is always that one kid that's gotta be the bad guy. Azalea and I are juniors in high school.
I have decent grades. The classes are much of a laid back work for me. It's supposed to be the
"hardest" year of high school, okay. I honestly thought 6th grade was the hardest. Anyways
that's not really the only thing kids really care about in high school, well not a lot of kids care
about their grades to be honest. But what I'm talking about is social life with other people,
which I'm terrible at, my twin on the other hand is definitely not. She is one of the centers of
attention when she walks into the room. She is really good at making conversation so easily, and
it is easy for her to have someone wrapped around her little finger. I'm not saying she is a bad
person of course not she just gets the attention, and sometimes I want that, but then again I
don't.
Azalea and I made our way to our lockers and her friends rushed toward her all cheerly and
peppy. No hate, they are just annoying.
"Omg Azy, you won't believe who asked me out last night," said Taylor
"Let me guess Dustin," said Azalea
"Omg, you are such a good guesser. So smart Azy," said Daniella. Oh yeah and her friends are a
little how do I say this without being mean. How about I just keep that to myself.
"Anyways you guys are coming to Alder's birthday party tomorrow night at Daniel's house,
right?," said Azalea.
"Of course girl we wouldn't miss it especially your brother, so cute,'' said Daniella as I couldn't
help but overheard since my locker is literally one away.
"Ewww," said Azalea and I. Both Danellia and Taylor looked at me
"Oh she speaks," said Taylor. I looked down shyly, I definitely should have not pitched in.
Did I mention they can also be a pain too.
"Be quiet Taylor and don't you dare say that kind of stuff to us about my brother," said Azalea.
I love that she had my back and she's not the type that gets embarrassed around her sibling.
"Is Noah coming?," Danellia said with a flirtatious laugh. Noah, Azalea's boyfriend of over a year,
we had known him since we were young, a Senior like Alder, and got along well with the family.
"Of course he is coming and it's our anniversary," Azalea said in awe. Then Noah walked through
the doors with Daniel, Alder and Dustin.
"Speaking of the devil, '' I said quietly to myself. The boys walked in and made there way to us,
Taylor immediately in Dustin's arms
"Hey Babe," Dustin said with Taylor around his arms and Noah gave a peck on Azalea's cheek
"Came here to walk you to class," Noah said
"Awwe, '' Daniella and Taylor said in awe and Azalea blushed
"Can't wait for this party," Noah said
"It's gonna be a night to remember,'' Daniel said.
''Yes the big 18," said Alder.
"Hey, Jas, how's it going?, " Noah said as I made eye contact with him, but for some reason this
look seemed different.
"Hey Noah, I'm good, " I said. It is awkward now and yes I'm very awkward in public mostly.
The bell ranged and it brought me out of this weird uninterested conversation.
"See everyone at lunch," said Alder as everyone parted to their classes.
