My favorite class is art, it's nice and peaceful because students enjoy doing their work and it's
a time that I can express how I feel. I love my teacher as well, the line she uses to her students is
my favorite.
"Remember students the key is to enter your feelings. Identify that, not take it away or change
it," said Miss Hallaway. She is quite the artist herself of course, she showed her work on the walls
and they are beautiful. My favorite is the painting she had of the many different types of flowers
mixed together. It really brings out the colors each flower had. Another reason why I love this
class is because my best friend Eli. Been best friends since grade school, the only friend I had. He
is like me but he is a little more out there and gets along well with people. My mother loved him
so much. She thinks there is something going on between us, but we are just friends. I would
never ruin our friendship like that.
"So are we really going to this party, " Eli said
"Uh yeah I guess, and besides it is my brother's birthday" I said
We sat next to each other cut out pieces of words and pictures that expressed how we felt
through the year and we will create it later.
"So today you are feeling awkward," Eil said as I cut out the word awkward.
"Yes, this is how I'm feeling" I said
"You are always awkward and I love that about you, It's cute," Eli said in a playful way as he had a nice smile.
"Don't call me cute," I said shyly" Azalea, her friends and my brother's friends were all having a conversation and I was a little bit part of the conversation and Noah said hi to me," I said.
"Okay, are you shocked by it because he is dating your twin and you guys know each other,"
Eli said.
"I know, yeah, but I might be delusional but he was looking at me in a way that i never really saw and it kinda made it awkward," I said.
"Don't tell me you like him or something? because that would be bad," Eli said with a concerned
look. I signed and rolled my eyes
"Yes of course, but only as a friend," I said. But I'm curious, was that really the truth?
