Tonight

              

                We arrived at Daniel's house "Are you sure it's the right address?" I said because I've 

never been to his house before.

"Uh yeah, We've been to his house many times," Alder said as he referred to Noah and him.

 Alder walked up to the door "It's unlocked, I swear if we are the first ones here," Alder said as we

 walked in and it's dark too.

"SURPRISE," the lights came on and everyone jumped up, took us all by surprise really.

"The MAN! happy birthday bro, "Daniel said as he walked towards Alder and they went into a bro hug.

"Let's get this PARTY STARTED," Alder yelled then everyone cheered with him, the music turned 

on and colorful lights. Azalea took Noah with her to go talk to Taylor and Daniella. I took Eli's 

hand and we went to the kitchen, It's less loud. There were people having conversations, by the 

counters, on the counter too. The food and drinks is where it's in the middle of the kitchen.

"Hey, how's it going, "I said as I looked at Eli, he's been very quiet.

"You look pretty, nice fishnets," He said as he looked at my legs, then moved his attention to the drinks.

"Thanks, what are you doing?," I said as he is rummaged through the drinks

"Trying to get drunk, ah here we go," Eli said as he picked up a bottle of tequila.

"No, this is not a good way to drown your problems," I said as I tried to take the bottle but he 

moved too fast.

"I'll see you later, I won't do anything stupid, I'll be in one of the rooms upstairs okay," Eli said 

than left the kitchen. He really did just leave me here, I'm not gonna stop him. I then walked 

back to the main room where everyone is, I saw Alder dancing with Daniel and a bunch of 

random girls, Azalea and Noah making out on one of the small couches on the side of the house. 

I leaned against the wall and watched everyone and listened to the music for a moment.

"NOT A PARTY GIRL," a random boy said. I didn't think he was talking to me, then he looked at me.

"NO, NOT REALLY," I said loud so he could hear me, he pointed his head towards the kitchen and 

I followed him.

"Yeah, not really too, I'm Alex by the way, "Alex said.

"Hey Alex, I'm Jasmine, "I said back and we shook hands.

"Now I swore I just saw you making out with your boyfriend, " Alex said, I laughed, wow.

"That would be my twin sister, Azalea, with her boyfriend, " I said.

"Oh, well is your boyfriend around here?, " Alex said as he looked around.

"No, I don't have a boyfriend at all. I don't really get boyfriends, I'm more on the awkward side 

and also haven't really considered getting one, " I said as I looked down.

"That's what makes girls like you cute, " Alex said.

"Girls like me," I said a little taken back

"Yeah, the ones that aren't the attention catchers, but they catch my eye and you caught mine,"
