Tsukishima Kei's POV
"Takeda-sensei!" I shouted.
I don't think I could ever fully explain what I felt.
When she fell forward to me while also falling to the floor once she lost consciousness, I was able to catch her only seconds before she was able to hit the floor. Right now, I was kneeling on the floor while one of my hands was under her head while the other was on her back.
When I shouted our teacher's name, it was filled with panic and concern for [Surname]. Screaming was the automatic response that I had when she suddenly blacked out in front of me. I've experienced her fainting before but never did I see it happen right before my eyes.
It was nerve-wracking. My heart was racing faster than while I was playing inside the court. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't do anything and that was the worst part.
"I'll contact her parents," Takeda-sensei said, bringing out his phone. "Please bring her to the infirmary for the meantime."
I didn't need to be told twice. I wrapped my arms around her shoulder and under her knees. I adjusted her position and made sure her head was on my shoulder.
'Shit. I don't know if I'm fit to carry her at my condition.'
I felt my right pinky throb in pain. I grit my teeth as I stood up while carrying her.
"Are you sure you can do it in your tired state, Tsukki?" Yamaguchi asked.
"I can," I said as I started walking away from the court.
I knew where the infirmary was since I went there not too long ago, so I didn't need any more directions.
When I arrived there, the nurse who tended to my wounds earlier told me to put [Surname] on one of the beds. I explained the situation briefly and said that her parents would probably ask her to be brought to a hospital soon.
The nurse only nodded and left us alone for the meanwhile.
I looked at [Surname] who was still pale. I remembered how she asked me earlier to not shout once she faints.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't stop myself from shouting," I said, giving off a chuckle that was mixed with nervousness. "Please be okay."

"We're going ahead. Can you send us a message once she wakes up?" Daichi-san said as he stood up.
Once [Surname] was brought to the same hospital she was rushed to before, everyone decided to come and wait for her to wake up. When the sun started to set though, one by one they went home since the others lived farther. As for me, my house was nearby anyway so it wasn't gonna be a long journey home.
"Sure," I said.
Daichi-san, Azumane-san, and Suga-san started to walk out the room leaving only the three of us— Me, Yamaguchi, and [Surname]— inside.
"I should start heading out as well," Yamaguchi said, standing up.
"You're not gonna wait?" I asked. "I think she'd be happier to see you than me once she wakes up."
