He Cheated Part Two

Shopping and Relax

        I sit and cuddle with the kids watching tv until Cathy knocks on the door. I tell Lisa there is a list in the kitchen for the kids. Cathy is pulling my arm telling me to hurry so we can have time to get our nails done too. Jane is laughing and tells Cathy " Take as long as you need. The kids are fine and I it's not like I have anything else to do." Cathy looks at Jane I was thinking there was going to be tension, but Cathy said " I already like you Jane." Then Jane said she is going look over the list basically the list say Not to much tv time make sure the kids brush their teeth after lunch and nap at one and only for an hour. It's not to bad, I just want to make sure they are being kids and playing instead of watching tv all the time, normally after a snack we do 30 minutes of learning time, but Jane is still kind of new. Cathy and I head to the mall, then after 2 hours of shopping only thing I got was the kids some new shoes and a set of bath towels. We then head over to get some lunch then our nails done. When I get home it's 5:30 I didn't realize how late it was. Jane just sat dinner out and we all sit there and ate. Cathy wants to go out, but I just really want to spend time with the kids. I can't wait until bed time. When Silas leaves on his trips, the kids sleep in my room, but we head to bed alittle early so we can lay in bed and cuddle and watch tv. Cathy looks disappointed, but my kids are more important. When Cathy leaves, Jane ask if we can just have girl talk. I tell the kids to go play in their rooms until bath time. Jane and I start talking " Lisa, I just want to say thank you again for the job. I miss being around family and being here it feels like home." I give her a hug and tell her " I'm glad you like it here. You are going to be great." We talk alittle longer, but nothing really important. I go give the kids a bath and we head to bed. I leave the door open, but I can hear Jane on the phone and it reminds me Silas hasn't called me yet. I pick my phone up to call him. He answers and it's only on the second ring. " Hey Lisa, I am so sorry as soon as we landed it was right to work  and I am just walking up to the hotel now to check in I still have my bags and everything still in the car." I say "Well Hello to you too babe. You sound really tired. I miss and love you." He said " I miss and love you too. hold on one second." I can hear him checking in the hotel. Then he returns back to the phone. We didnt talk long and hung up. The kids and I fall asleep watching tv.
