Luke's pov

After lunch, of course Mike and I had our last period with Ashton and Cale- Calum, crap I have to remember his name better considering I have to be on the same team as him.

I'm just happy that Ashton isn't on the team, or else I would just be annoyed the whole practice.

I was too busy thinking about Ashton that I forgot the fact that I left my bag in my car, so I had to go to the student parking lot, all the way across campus, to get it. I started heading over there after I told mike and he called me a dumbāss.

While I was turning the corner though, someone bumped into me a fell, and just my luck, when I looked down, I was met with those hazels eyes that perplexed me.

"Next time watch where your going. But are you ok?" After, I gave my hand to help him up, and when he got up he brushed off his butt, but of course I wasn't staring, because that's weird, definitely not.

"Sorry I was distracted, and yeah I'm good, I just got a flat äss, so nothing to catch my fall with."

"That's not true- I mean yeah makes sense." Damnit, what the hell am I saying, I mean yes he has a nice butt and I've looked before, but he didn't have to know that. Oh god, I can feel myself blushing, damnit, get yourself together hemmings!

"Well thank you Lucas", he said with the hottest smirk on his face, "but I better get going to watch the best player on the soccer team." Ugh, I have always hated when people call me that.

"Number one, don't call me that I hate it-"

"That's why I said it, but continue." Of course he already knew, because of last year when the teacher called me it, and I got annoyed.

"Okay then I'm annoyed that you know that, and, your friend Caleb right?", and right after I said that I knew I fücked up.

"Are you serious! He's been on the team with you since you guys were both freshmen and you still can't remember his name?", and after he said that he shoved past me to get to, the field.

Before I continued walking, I realized that Ashton had dropped his phone, and by the time I notice and turned around, he was long gone. So I just slipped it in my backpack, and ran to my car. Long story short, I was late to practice.

When Calum, scored, I heard cheering from the bleachers, and that's when I remembered that Ashton had been watching the whole time.

After that I couldn't focus because I was trying my hardest not to mess up... uh... just because I shouldn't be messing up, yup, that's why.

When he kept cheering, I heard coach asking him to keep it down so that he didn't distract us. After that, he had he cutest pout on his face and I couldn't help but stare at him for the rest of the practice.

In the locker room, Michael came up to me with the biggest smile on his face.

"Luuuuuke, guess who's number I just got and I'm taking out on a date this Friday night?!"

"Uh, should I know this?"

"Kind of, but not really because your kind of dumb."

"Hey! Just tell me who jerk."

"Calum!!"

"Really?"

"Yeah. I mean, you can't be totally surprised."

"I'm not. You guys would be really cute together, I can see it. And he was totally staring at you the whole practice when you weren't staring at him."

"Yeah, so I'm excited, and I'm going to head home and start planning right away."

"Okay, good luck with that man, and congrats."

When I got home, past my overbearing mom and annoying brothers, I went up to my room to start my homework. When I opened my bag, it was then that I realized that I still had Ashton's phone, and he had 10 messages and 20 missed calls from "drunk hoe🙄"

I was obviously curious, but his phone had a password, so I couldn't open it.

I started thinking about who it could be, and no one came to mind. So it much he someone in his family, or an ex maybe, I don't know. But when the idea of an ex cane to mind, I got a little irritated, so I put it away in my bag again so I could give it to him tomorrow.

After I finished my homework, my mom called me down for dinner.

"So honey, how was school today?"

"It was fine."

"Fine? That's it? Yeah no, tell me more."

Yeah, that's the kind of mom I had. She always wanted to be in my life and be involved with everything that was happening with me. Not that it bothered me, I mean, it was just me and her because both of my brothers were already in college and out of the house.

She was a nurse, so it was rare when she was home during the night, she never had morning shifts. So when she was, we had dinner together, and would have long conversations, but I was just tired today.

"I mean, a kid in all of my classes was annoying me."

"So, was this actually and annoying boy, or was he a cute annoying?"

Yes, she knew I was gay, and was happy to find out, something about having someone to talk about boys with.

"He was actually annoying, thank you very much."

"Okay okay, sorry. Anyone else that is cute annoying though?"

"No. Not yet at least. I'll tell you when though."

At that point I had finished eating, and she had to get ready for work, so with a kiss on the cheek, an I love you, and an order to do the dishes, she was off for work.

After I did the dishes, and took a shower, it was only 6 pm, but for some reason I was really tired.

After, Luke just got into bed and fell asleep with thoughts of the weird and annoyingly cute hazel-eyed boy, not hearing his phone buzz with a text from Michael.

This gets a little easier as time goes on, so i'm pretty happy about that. And yes, it is Liz, but she's a nurse, and Jack and Ben are gone. Probably going to be doing 1 or 2 updates a day. If you enjoyed please vote and comment, thank youuu <3
