i have been binge watching The Santa Clarita Diet, almost done, but i wanted to update lol. also, while writing this, i kept listening to 18 on repeat, so I HAVE LOVED YOU SINCE WE WERE 18!!! so i hope you enjoy!! :)

Calum's pov

Michael and I had stayed at the hospital because we didn't want to leave Ashton alone all night. He fell asleep in his bed around 8:30. Michael and I stayed up playing cards until Luke came back at around 9. He told us that the officer, Doctor Harry's husband, gave Luke 20 minutes alone in a room with a handcuffed Bill. Michael and I both quietly celebrated with him after he said that Bill had been unconscious when he left.

Ashton woke up to the sound of our celebration because apparently we weren't that silent.

"Why are you guys up? And dancing? Lu, what happened to your hands?" He hobbled over with his crutches and sat down on the bed.

"Doctor Tomlinson's husband, who is a police officer, gave me 20 minutes in a room alone with Bill, while he was handcuffed."

Ashton grabbed Luke's hands and were studying them. "So, this is from punching him?" Luke slowly nodded. He probably didn't know if Ashton would be mad or happy with him.

Michael and I watched as he pulled Luke's face closer to his, and kissed him. They pulled away after a short, sweet kiss, and we heard Ashton whisper thank you.

"Okay lovebirds. Mike and I are going to head home and get some sleep. Luke, are you staying?"

"Only if Ashton wants me to." Before we all looked at Ashton to see, he grabbed Luke and pulled him into the bed. Luke tripped on his crutches while laughing, and got into the covers is his bed.

I walked over to Ashton and kissed his head, "Okay then, goodnight babe. Goodnight Luke. Mike and I will come back tomorrow in the morning and you can go home and shower and crap. But bye, for now." Mike walked over and said bye before grabbing my hand and leading me out of the room.

On our way out, we ran into doctor Tomlinson. "Doctor. When do you think Ashton is going to be able to leave."

"Hi guys. Well, if the r*pe is true, we are going to have to run a few tests to make sure he's fine, and then after that, he'll be fine to go. After that, he'll just have to be careful."

"Okay, thank you. We're leaving, but Luke is sleeping here. We'll be back tomorrow."

"Okay guys, take care and drive safe."

Ashton's pov

I walked into my house when I was thrown against the door. I looked up to see Bill smiling down at me. I got up and past him. I ran into the kitchen, expecting him to be right behind me. When I realized he wasn't, I heard yelling from the front. I was about to go and see what was happening when I heard one of the voices screams stop. I walked in and saw a bloody Luke at the feet of a smiling Bill with a knife in his hand. I started screaming at him.

"LUKE! WHAT THE FÚCK IS WRONG WITH YOU! LUKE! BABY!" I started to run forward when Bill ran to the kitchen. I sat on the floor holding Luke's body in my arms. "I'm sorry. This was my fault. But please, come back to me." I looked up when I felt a knife fly by my face. It was stuck in the wall next to my head. I turned and saw Bill smiling at me.

"Whatcha gonna do about it faggot?"

I grabbed the knife, and kept stabbing myself in the stomach while Bill was screaming at me to stop.

"ASHTON"

"ASHTON"

"ASHTON! BABY, WAKE UP!" I woke up to Luke hovering over me with tears in his eyes.

"Ash. What happened. You were screaming in your sleep for me to come back to you." I didn't know I was crying until Luke wiped my tears off of my cheek.

"Bill. Bill killed you. You were dead."

"I'm alive. I'm fine. Just calm down. I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere." He was hugging me and kissing my head. I managed to calm down right as Doctor Tomlinson cane in with Officer Tomlinson.

"You okay Ashton?" The Officer had asked me, and I still didn't know his name.

"Yeah, I'm okay Officer" Before I could ask, I heard Luke whisper Louis. "Louis."

"Okay. Well, Luke here went with me and saw Bill. It was very nice to watch. But according to your guys statements, he had all the markings that you said he did, and that's enough to put him away for a couple years." Luke looked at me while smiling, which gave me hope for the future.

"Okay, thank you."

"But Ashton, we're going to have to run a few tests to see if he actually did, you know. I'm sorry, I won't say it, in case of triggering anything. I can't imagine how awful it is to think about it for you."

"It's alright Doctor Harry. Will we be doing the tests today? And also, I went to a therapist without anyone knowing. I'm better than I was at the time." I saw Luke wipe away a few years. I didn't want him to know that Bill had done that, but, I'm happy he's going away for it.

"Yeah, we'll do the tests later when your a little more awake. For now, just rest here with Luke." I just smiled in response. Officer Louis walked over and shook Luke's hand, smiling at me as well. They both walked out after that.

"How are you feeling ash?"

"I've felt better. Again, just sore, but it'll go away with time."

He rubbed my cheek again, and smiled at me. "Okay. How about you just get some more rest until your tests later on today."

I kissed him and pulled away with a small, okay.

Within a few minutes, I heard him snoring. He was a pretty heavy sleeper. I looked at him. His hair was messed up, while his mouth was slightly open, letting out soft snores. He looked so beautiful. The sight gave me a warm feeling in my chest. One of pure happiness. Yes, some bad things happened to me in my life, but right now, everything was perfect. Well, perfect for me.
