ricky arrived earlier than expected at nini's house.
"hey babe, why are you here so early?"

"i just missed you. i was thinking we can grab lunch then you can go shopping. i don't want you to shop on an empty stomach." ricky replies.

"aw you're cute. come on, let's go."

ricky open the passenger seat of his car for nini, then they head to the mall. during their car ride, ricky asks what she needed at the mall.

"hmm, i was planning to buy a new top and a sweater. i also need to buy a new foundation and mascara since i ran out." nini says.

"ok wow that's a lot." ricky chuckles.

"i'm sorry babe for dragging you along. i know you'll feel bored with all of these girl stuff."

ricky reaches for her hand, "nothing is boring when i'm with you." and nini blushes.

as soon as they reach the mall, they grab lunch at their favorite ramen place. after, ricky and nini head to the shops so she can finally buy the clothes she wants.

they spend about 2 hours in the clothing store, nini was picky when it came to fashion so she was trying almost every top in the store. on the other hand, ricky was sitting down, constantly waiting for her while she was in the fitting room. finally, she settled for a floral top and a beige sweater. when they were on their way to the counter, ricky spotted a beautiful red dress and he calls for nini to check out the dress.

"damn that's gorgeous and it's my size." nini admires the dress. she immediately looks at the tag and she was surprised. "but the price isn't."

"come on, nini just try it on! please." ricky insisted. "ok fine."

nini tried on the red dress and for once, she felt beautiful and confident. she steps out of the fitting room and ricky's mouth just watered by her sight. "neens, you look absolutely stunning."

"aw thanks babe. but i can't buy it. it's out of my budget." ricky just nods while she changes back to her clothes.

she gets to the cashier to pay and as soon as she hands in her card, a pair of hands stop her. "don't worry babe, i got it."

ricky hands in his card, as well as the red dress that nini tried on a while back. as soon as they leave the store, nini stops him. "babe, you didn't have to do that. honestly i would have paid for that myself."

ricky interlocks his fingers with hers. "hey, don't worry about that. what kind of boyfriend would i be if i don't spoil my girlfriend?"

nini chuckles, "well that's a good point."

"and plus it's almost your birthday, so look at it as an advanced birthday present from me." ricky adds.

"my birthday is in a month, ricky." they both laugh until nini connects her lips with his. "but thank you for this. i love you. so much. and i owe you."

they both run to sephora so nini could buy the makeup she needed. after, she spots a scented candle store and ended up buying cinnamon scented candles. the couple decided to grab some coffee at a nearby starbucks and head home since they were both really tired.

"babe, go ahead to the car. here are the keys. i'll just run to the bathroom." ricky says, kissing her cheek.

as she was approaching the exit, she bumps into a familiar face, "diana?"
