"mia, mia!" ricky whispers. "nini is leaving tonight. i need to see her before she leaves. i can't loose her again."

mia turns her head, "ricky, awards night is about to start. plus if you leave now, jimmy is gonna notice as well as diana. look, i know how much nini means to you. hell, i even helped your friends with their plan a few days ago. but you can't leave now, i'm sorry."

ricky puts his head down in disappointment and sighs. diana comes back to her seat and notices, "are you good?"

"yeah." ricky lies. "just nervous."

"don't be! you'll definitely win top male artist and of course, i'll win top female artist. we're literally the best couple out there!" diana exclaims and ricky lets out a sarcastic laugh. "right."
