Aaron smiled at the little banter happening between Xavier and Martha. It felt good, the soundless house always eats him up: a little noise kept the home alive. Home is a word he never had the privilege off, there were just too many places to go to.

Jayden owns a house probably everywhere in the world, wherever there was a business trip during his childhood they used to go live in those houses but they all felt empty to him. Cause: his father busy with work and mom nowhere near him he was all alone. Jennifer has been in love too many times he doesn't remember the count how many times she married and they didn't last more than a year or two, maximum she could go with a guy was three or last to last five.

What was love? The pain and loneliness he saw in his father's eyes was that love? Or the amount of times his mother fell out of love and went on with some other guy was that love? Or the love Martha says you can leave everything and nothing for? What actually is love? He would never fall in something called love. Never.

"Can you both stop I can cook more muffins" Aaron tried to stop the argument but it went to deaf ears cause the duo didn't even once spare him a glance, kept on quarrelling.

"Sir" Harriet called him out from the stairs, he left the duo to fight and attended her

"Is everything alright up at the office?" he asked.

She nodded her head and passed his phone "there's a call from the hospital"

He looked puzzled, the hospital for what? reports directly go to his family medic then what was the point of calling him. He didn't say much and took the phone "Hello"

"Hello, Mr Silvertone it's Dr Moon-Byeol from Kendra Hospital. We met yesterday for the tests" she spoke from the other end. He couldn't deny but her voice was mesmerizing, a soothing melody to burning hearts

Was she interested in him? The very first question that occurred to him. He laughed in the inside and continued "Yes. I remember"

"Actually, there was an urgent matter" Aaron was confused as to what was so urgent that she needed to call him instead of the family medic "Did speak to my family medic?

"I did"

"Please continue"

"I've received the reports of yours and Miss Haydon and when I spoke to Dr Murphy he said he has no clue about it"

"Come again. What are you talking about?" Aaron was perplexed as to what prevailed that his family medic Dr Murphy didn't know about

"It's regarding Miss Haydon"

"What happened?" Listening to something happened to Abigail, he felt a little twinge in his heart

"I have her results with me and She was at the ER an hour back"

"What? How?" He almost screamed. Harriet was closely watching his features at first he was confused, later he sounded flabbergasted but now he was stunned. Even Martha and Xavier were startled with his sudden scream

"I request please be calm. She has her father here but I suggest since you came with her yesterday if you could come today as well for moral support"

"What moral support?"

"Actually, Dr Murphy said he has no idea about Miss Haydon and her illness. Since her father is here already I thought of breaking the news to him but it will be better if you could come for moral support to your girlfriend"

Aaron rushed inside the hospital with Xavier on his tail "Abigail Haydon, which room?" he asked impatiently at the reception. Impatienceness it was getting the best of him.
