Aaron couldn't get hold of his emotions, he was unaware of the feelings that were overpowering his sanity. He couldn't take his mind off her, wasn't able to concentrate on his work either. There were piles of work needed to be compelled he wasted an ample amount of time behind Abigail.

Yet he didn't regret any of it. Her problems weren't his concern neither she wanted to share them yet he felt a sense of responsibility towards her, take care of her in this difficult time.

But he is no saint, just looking at her gives him a hard time, he isn't able to control anymore around her. It has never been like this not with any of the girls before. Abigail wasn't like someone he met before either. She was on a different level. Abigail was smart, intelligent, passionate about her work unafraid of anyone.

Aaron banged his head on the office table his mind stuck on Abigail and now moreover on her disease. "Sir" Harriet knocked on the glass door and peeked her head inside

"Yea" he mumbled, digging his head in the pile of paper in front of him

"You have a call from Mr Bogota" she passed his phone and left the cabin

Shane Bogota: his last personal assistant and a good friend. Shane and Aaron had been working together for years, his father Jayden Silverton first hired him when Aaron was in college. Later Shane and Aaron became good friends, Shane left his father's job to work with Aaron.

"Whats up Bogota?" He chirped on the line

Shane chuckled and replied "I see you're still worn out" he mocked on his helplessness

"Laugh all you want" Aaron sounded irritated, Shane knew about the problems going on here and he very well knew the reason for the mock

"Jayden Sir asked about your whereabouts," Shane said, hearing upon his irritated voice he chose the drop the humour and speak about business

"You sure are a double agent aren't you?" Aaron was still irritated his father is hell-bent on keeping tabs

Shane continued further "He asked me about your upcoming projects and the details. I assume Martha is with you"

"Yes, she is and the project is ongoing," Aaron said, "Is dad paying you well?"

"Of course he is. Remember I used to first work for him later you"

"Just take better care of your sister" Aaron whispered. Shane had to leave Aaron to work for his father cause the pay was double of what Aaron was paying.

Shane badly needed money for his sister, she has Cancer he is been trying his best to give her the best medical treatment but it needs tons of money for that. When Aaron offered to help Shane sister Bianca didn't accept it.

Jayden came up with a solution he doubled the salary for him and in return, all he needed was information about Aaron, every minute detail to which Aaron agreed wholeheartedly although it did make his life a little tough it was worth saving a life.

"Do you want me to report about Abigail to your father?" He asked. Shane always gave details about Aaron but only those upon which Aaron agreed or which were important to give. He worked as a double agent for the father-son and they both knew about it and wouldn't care less.

Aaron completed his pending meetings and set up the date for his show. The pre-production work had already begun. But his mind was still occupied with the thoughts of Abigail he so wished she would just accept the proposal he gave. He sure is a fuck boy but there is no denying he can be loyal af to any woman only if he wishes to be.
