"I would love to go on a date with the both of you."

As long as those words left Stan's mouth the couple had large smiles printed on their faces. "That's good because otherwise we would have set this all up for nothing bird boy," Richie chuckled as they elbowed their crush and best friend. Eddie rolled his eyes, "Ignore them, their a rescue." But there was an obvious adoration laced within his voice as he looked lovingly at his partner. Stan, although he would never say it out loud, left honoured that they liked him back because seeing the love these two shared and the thought that he could potentially be a part of it made his heart warm.

The pair were sitting on opposite ends of Stan and made sure to give him an equal amount of attention. "This is yours, you heathen," Richie said as they thrust the bottle of Diet Coke towards Stan in a disapproving manner, it was a running joke between the two that Richie hated Diet Coke and would judge anyone for drinking it, and Stan simply rolled his eyes in response use to Richie antics by now. "You're lucky by the way, they genuinely weren't going to get it... I had to convince them otherwise you would have been stuck drinking regular Coke," Eddie chuckled as he gestured towards the much bigger bottle, "I think they got a bottle this big to compensate for something~" He teased. Without missing a beat Richie replied, "Its big enough for your mom, Eds my sweet." They then winked. "Beep beep Richie!"

"Hey look what I can do!" The excited trashmouth yelled as they attempted to land a bottle flip only to fail miserably each time they tried. During this period of time Eddie had slowly taken Stan's hand as he watched his partner fail and honestly the birdwatcher was impressed by Eddie's calm composure as he thought that Eddie and Richie were both useless gays in their relationship turned out it was only Richie as Eddie could be quite smooth. The birdwatcher laughed at the sight and tried to ignore the gay thoughts from Eddie holding his hand, "If you don't land this next one then you've got to shut up for the rest of the night!" The hypochondriac grinned and said, "Thank god maybe they'll actually be quiet for once in their life!" But as luck would have it... Richie landed the flip that time.

The whole night was a success and of course the second Richie noticed that Stan and Eddie were holding hands they wanted to be involved too so they flopped their entire body over both boys but neither one complained. The three watched the stars in the sky and spoke of complete nonsense like it was the most important thing in the world. They all enjoyed it but as five in the morning came around and Stan had to rush home before his dad found an empty bed he couldn't help but wonder what it all meant, were they dating now or not?

So why text me about the date?
I mean we're seeing each other later today and then meeting with the rest of the losers.

Trashyclowns: because i can
but really because i wanted to say that i think my crush on stan has grown after that date
do you feel that way too?

Eddiespagetti: You used the right 'too' Stan would be so proud!
And yeah I feel the same way, I think my feelings grew after getting to be with him in a romantic setting but we couldn't really speak about it cause he had to run off to his dad.

Trashyclowns: screw you mr uris you cockblock!

Eddiespagetti: Aren't you ace, babe?

Trashyclowns: as the great eddie asscrack said earlier in this conversation 'irrelevant'
no but i wanted to see if you think its too soon to ask stan to be our third? i dont want him to feel pressured or anything

Eddiespagetti: Firstly *it's and don't
Secondly we could always ask him but make it clear that we're not wanting to pressure him or anything so we should try to meet him before meeting with the rest of the losers?

Trashyclowns: i want to do this right too so we need to make it romantic and i think i have an idea

Eddiespagetti: As much as I hate to admit it you're the more romantic one out of our relationship so what have you got in mind?

The couple formulated a plan together and they were both proud of it. Once they had talked everything through physically again they messaged Stan to ask if he wanted to meet before the losers club were all going to hang out and if he did to come over to Richie's house and of course Stan agreed in a heartbeat, but he threw in a full insults so that he didn't look desperate, and started cycling over to Richie's. The boy was nervous as although their date had only been a few days ago he hadn't really had much of a chance to speak to either Richie or Eddie as his dad had decided to start being an asshole.

It took three knocks for Richie to open the door and as they did they hung seductively off the doorframe, "Welcome to the Tozier household~" They wiggled their hips as they walked but Stan only rolled his eyes taking this as regular Richie behaviour especially considering the trashmouth had come out as asexual not too long ago so he knew that these were only sexual jokes with no intent behind them. As Stan walked in he saw Eddie sitting on the sofa watching some germ documentary thing and yelling at the TV, "This is false! That could kill her and the stupid fucking doctor isn't doing anything about it!" This caused Richie to chuckle and grab the remote, "Calm down fireball, Stan is here." And they gestured for Stan to sit down whilst they turned this TV off. This was starting to feel an awful lot like an intervention and Stan had no idea what was going on.

Eddie, similar to how he had on the date, slowly took Stan's hand and Richie sitting next to him slowly took the other and smiled, a soft gentle one which was unusual for the trashmouth and raised many questions for Stan, "So cause neither of us have heard from you since the date we were, uh, wondering if you'd enjoyed it..." Eddie started awkwardly, he took the fact that Stan wasn't pulling away from either of the losers right now as a good sign, his face was slightly red. "I did enjoy it, my dad was being a dick so I've been kinda busy the past few days, I've been meaning to message honestly I would love to do it again..." Stan was just as awkward. "Well then bird pedo, you're in luck, because you can get as many dates as you like if you want to be our boyfriend... I mean, uh, only if you want to cause I know we've only had one date and that might seem too soon and we don't want to pressure you..." Richie had started off confident but that confidence had very quickly gone down hill.

There was silence and then Stan started to laugh, "That's definitely going to be a story to tell, isn't it? When Richie and Eddie asked me out Richie literally called me bird pedo... I mean it's so..." He had to wipe tears from his eyes because he was so overwhelmed in the moment that being called that by one of his crushes had been the funniest thing. The couple looked back at each other embarrassed because they thought Stan was rejecting them and quickly realising this the birdwatcher jumped in, "Oh no! Wait I'd love to be your boyfriend I just was a little overwhelmed there and I wasn't ready for that!" And immediately he was tackled by his new boyfriend and partner.

Naturally when the losers were told they were all accepting and Mike even playfully gave Stan a nudge and smiled, "what did I tell you? You never know if you don't try... sometimes you've just got to take that leap."
