There was a clock ticking loudly from the church outside as Eddie walked into the house. The sight was one to behold. Richie was crouched on the ground and his entire body was shaking, he seemed terrified of something. Eddie approached slowly and he spoke in a gentle tone, "We're finally free..." He seemed stoic, there was a lack of care in his voice. Richie's head whipped round and he saw Eddie standing there with open arms, "Welcome home, it's just you and me now, standing alone. The world is ours."

"No it isn't," Richie stood up slowly, the threading around his mouth had loosened and his eyes looked even more dead than regular. He stared passed Eddie, the other shook his head spraying black goop everywhere. "Get in the car." He knew they couldn't stay here long they had to go back to Neibolt house.

"This isn't finished."

"What?"

The first encounter neibolt Richie had with the real deal with during the kids first visit to the house. He got the coffin door slammed back in his face and then that damn clown had jumped out from right on top of him. After that he'd followed in the shadows and he'd seen Richie's love for the small hypochondriac boy, it was something he felt for his own version of Eddie, he understood that. The neibolt kids weren't supposed to feel anything only to Pennywise's mindless slaves to torture the losers but they'd grown their own consciousness outside of that. The stitched Richie watched the real one and saw how the he was with his Eddie, they were closer and he felt jealousy. He wanted to be like with his Richie but he knew as long as they were supposed to be Pennywise's creations then they couldn't be free.

The neibolt kids were always told they couldn't leave the house so none of them had ever tried it but as Pennywise faded, defeated by the fight with the losers club, Richie decided to chance it. If he disintegrated as Pennywise claimed he would then at least he would no longer have to be her toy so it was a win-win situation but he realised he could step outside. "What are you doing," An all too familiar voice piped up and Richie sighed whipping his head around to see Eddie standing there, "We can go outside?" He seemed shock, obviously he hadn't suspected that Pennywise had been lying to him. Yet the goddamn clown had modelled them off of the actual kids, hadn't she? So Eddie was used to being controlled and told by his mom what is true and what isn't and not questioning that so it made sense. "Definitely looks that way." He started to walk up the street, grateful for the fact that it was getting dark.

"Where are you going?"

"I just want to talk to the real me."

"Even though the kid's dead, I'm still seeing red, I'm just a shell of his form
that his innocence shed!" Richie yelled running his hands through his hair, he gestured to the body in the street, his entire body shaking but not from fear but from anger. "He lived a good life and he gave it to you," Eddie scoffed, the black goop seemed to lessen up though as he shook his head.

That comment angered Richie further and he spun around and stormed towards his old friend, "Oh is that right? You know it's not true!" Lying outside on the street a few inches away from the car was the body, still bloody and still a mess, but this was Derry and considering it was a kid's body nobody was going to care if they saw it. "Look at him showered in blood and flowers. Now look in my eyes, she still holds the power. After years and tears and confronting his fears, he's dead on his record... for the world to hear." He sounded regretful.
