suna passed the $1.50 to the cashier, swiping his pack of jelly sticks off the counter and stalking out of the corner store.

it was a hot, sunny day, probably about 6 in the evening.

a pleasant breeze blew past, ruffling through suna's soft dark hair as he sat on an old bench outside of the store.

three days had passed since kita and him had got together.

they promised to stay in touch, and see eachother before suna moved.

whatever had happened between them, the complicated feelings, the sex, it didn't matter. part of suna wasn't bothered, but the other part was angry, wondering why kita had had sex with him if it wasn't going to be the start of an actual relationship.

sighing, he put the thought of kita shinsuke out of his head and unwrapped his jelly sticks.

they tasted sweet in his mouth, comforting, reminding him of the package osamu had left by his door step a week ago.

him and osamu hadn't talked much.

suna felt too guilty to try and strike up a conversation. kita's words had deeply affected him, causing him to realize how much his grudge towards osamu had been hurting him.

both of them.

time slowly trickled by, others passing as they basked in the summer sun.

suna remained where he was, thoughtfully eating his pack of jelly sticks until there were none left. it was 6:30 by then (he was a slow eater), with the sun threatening to set.

he thought of osamu.

stuffing his trash into his pocket, suna stood and made his way back into the corner store. he carefully picked through the isles in search for one special food.

soon enough he was on his way down the street, his items swaying by his side with the white plastic back they were stored inside.

it was dark by then, as he made his way to the less populated part of the city, to a place that was far too familiar.

anxiety itched at the back of his throat, he was nervous about what he was about to do.

his fingers gently tore holes into the plastic bag with anticipation.

as he neared his destination, he couldn't take the anticipation and broke into a full on sprint.

his footsteps thudded up the stairs before he banged his fist against the door loudly, his knuckles aching.

he didn't know why but he felt tears gently rolling down his cheeks, the brisk nighttime breeze chilling them against his skin.

osamu answered the door, each staring with shock and confusion, before suna bent into a deep bow, pushing his arms out with a package of onigiri resting in his palms.

"please forgive me, osamu."
