Cherry blossom of the leaf (Sakura fanfiction)

It was the day for Ino's birthday party. Nothing really happened in the days before her party. She attended her training, the library and started teaching Naruto to speak properly and read a little.

She was making breakfast for her and Naruto. It was early. She had awoken from a nightmare.

The nightmare was about her time trapped under the lake. In this case she froze to death but Naruto was with her.

She had nightmares before but they weren't intense.
Anyone would have nightmares after that but because Sakura came home tired everyday and face dropped at her bed falling into sleep.

Today was Sakura's day off. You were supposed to train every day but the hokage ordered her to have a day off of her choosing.

She chose today. Ino's party. Ibiki was more than pleased to let her go.

Naruto came down the stairs looking as sleepy as ever.

"Morning sleepy head."

"Morndind" he said in a language no one understands but him.

"I'm sorry what?"

"Morning Sakura" he said.

"There you go, was that so hard?"she said.

"Shut up!"

"Please lead by example."

"You-grrr" he growled.

"What's wrong? Am i saying things you're not smart enough to understand?"

Naruto puffed his cheeks and turned the other way.

"Ok ok I'm sorry. Here, have some breakfast." she said and handed him a plate with the food she made.

Naruto looked at it for a bit. He didn't seem to want to take that is until his stomach growled.

"You're forgiven." he said and quickly grabbed his plate and started eating.

Sakura giggled.

"So, what are you going to get Ino?" he asked. Naruto had thought about it and decided not to go. He thought it would be best.

"I decided to paint a picture of Ino. I don't really know what she is into. Here let me show you" she said and went to her room.

And as expected it was a big mess.

She grabbed Ino's painting and headed downstairs.

"Here see" she said and gave him the painting.

"Wow, sakura! This is amazing! I didn't know you could draw so well." he said and smiled.

"Thanks."

"Well i really need to clean my room. So, once you finish eating put your dishes in the sink."

"OK."

Then she went to her room.

It had been about an hour.

Sakura was still sorting books and toys. She made a promise to herself not to let her room get dirty ever again.

Her powers help a lot. She could use her vines to move a lot more objects and faster along with her telekinesis.

It had came back and she was able to use it better than ever. But she would never over exhaust herself.

She was also looking for something to wear.
She was planning on wearing a dress. Mainly because Ino asked her too.

She didn't have many dresses for events like these.

...

She had finished cleaning her room after literally an eternity.

She had picked what she would wear.

A simple no sleeved pink dress with a white  t-shirt underneath and some pink shorts hidden.She also chose knee high socks and her black boots.

She was hesitant to wear it but decided nonetheless.

The party was at 5 and it was 12. She had plenty of time to get ready so she decided to go to the library.

She had arrived at the library and had already picked out the book she wanted to read.

It was like a bingo book but for Shinobi from this village who had died or were still alive and had done sacrificed themselves for the village.

Being in the book was like getting a metal. It was an honor.

The book she was reading was an older version.
She was interested in seeing how many people had gotten this metal and why.

She opened the book at a random page because why not.

There was a picture of the 4th hokage. Children her generation never got to see the 4th. He died protecting the village for this huge fox with nine tails that attacked.

That's what her parents told her.

She turned to the next page.

There was a boy. He looked 12 to 14 years old.

His name was Obito Uchiha.
His death was confidential. She felt bad for him. He was young.

She turned the page once more and there was a girl.

Rin Nohara.

She was young too.

Now  Sakura noticed the team she belonged to. She was with the other boy. And their sensei was the 4th hokage. She wondered who the 3rd member might be. But then she remembered it was really none of her business.

She passed through multiple pages. She was surprised to see people where there due to the nine tails incidents.

She turned the page over.

The page had her parents.
She was not surprised they where hero's. They were smiling. They seemed happy. Then picture they added had them and a couple of kids around them. There was a kid in the between them and they were hugging him tightly. He was also smiling. The kids had injuries on them. Sakura guessed they. must have been rescued by her parents and that they were happy to be alive.

Despite knowing that, Sakura felt something she hadn't before. Jealousy perhaps? No that wasn't it.
She felt something she couldn't explain. Was it sadness?Maybe, but why?

She looked at their description. She smiled. They were hero's. They had helped and saved so many.

'and yet they forget about us...'

Sakura quickly turned behind. There was no one. Must have been her imagination.

She started reading about her parents.

'They have accomplished many things in their life.
Many people are grateful to them. They saved lives out of the goodness of their heart.

They live a happy and adventurous life along with their beloved child.
The child's name is-'

"Sakura-Chan?"she was interrupted by Chiaki-sans
voice.

"Yes?" she said. She said it loudly but only because there was no one else reading in the library.

"Can you help me stack this books?" she asked.

"Of course."sakura said and began helping the old librarian leaving her book  alone and wide open.

What she didn't see was a certain man in a certain mask stealing it.
