"Chanler!" I shouted again.

My knees weakened but I manage to keep on my stance. His door opened and he got out from his car without any scratch or blood.

"Thank God!"

I just realized that his car was bulletproof. Siya na kusang lumapit sa amin ni Andra. When he reached us, he instantly carry Andra from my arms as he hug me too.

"Chanler, that s-scared me a l-lot," Ani ko sa pagitan ng paghikbi. Lalo pa akong umiyak dahil malinaw na naaalala ang mga nangyari kanina.

I can't bear to lose him. Para na rin akong namatay kung sakaling mangyari iyon. He can't die. Hindi ngayon na ayos na ang lahat, na masaya na ang lahat. Ikakasal pa kami! I can't lose him, I'll lose my sanity if it happens.

"Hush now, I'm fine, I'm breathing, 'kay?"

Tumango ako pero hindi pa rin tumigil ang pag agos ng mga luha ko. I have never been scared in my life that much. I almost had a heart attack when I heard the gunshot and it was for his car, for him.

"Salamat, Pierce,"

Duon ko lang naingat ang tingin nung sinabi iyon ni Chanler. This Dasoviche guy shook his head until his eyes met mine. So it's his name, Pierce.

"No problem. I just want them to be safe too," Siya ang unang umiwas ng tingin. "I'll put more bodyguards around you and your... girl,"

Tahimik na tumango si Chanler. Narinig ko na may palapit sa amin na police car at alam kong para sa amin iyon.

"Where's Andra's inhaler?"

Napatingin ako kay Andra at nakita na nahihirapan na itong huminga.

"It's in my car," Sabi ko at natarantang tumakbo pabalik sa sasakyan ko. Hinagilap ko agad ang bag ni Andra pagkabukas ko ng kotse. Nakasunod naman sa likod ko si Chanler kaya mabilis kong naibigay ang inhaler sa kanya pagkatapos mahanap ito.

"You should both go home,"

Umiling agad ako sa kanya. Now, I'm really scared to spend another second without his side. Gusto ko lagi siyang nasa tabi ko na.

And I'll make sure of that.

"Sasama a-ako sa'yo," My voice trembled as I said those words.

"Babe, stop crying," Aniya at hinaplos ang mukha ko. Hindi ko talaga mapigilan na maiyak. Pakiramdam ko ang sakit sakit ng puso ko sa nangyari kanina. Akala ko talaga may nangyaring masama sa kanya.

"I love you, you and Andra,"

Lumapit ako sa kanya at yumakap muli. I exhaled as I lean my head on his shoulder.

"I love you too. Please..." I swallowed the lump on my throat before I continued. "Please keep safe for me and Andra. Promise me, Chanler,"

I felt him kiss my temple.

"Promise, Kady,"

And I'll hold to that promise. He'll be safe. Nangako siya. I would keep my faith on his words.

"Atty. Del Vecchio, pwede po ba namin kayo makausap?" A police officer stand before us.

Napabitaw ako kay Chanler pero agad niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko. Napatingin ako sa mga mata niya bago ako na mismo ang humigpit sa pagkakahawak ng kamay namin.

They invited us inside the hotel. May security na rin na tumulong upang mag  ayos sa nangyari sa parking. Ofcourse the hotel would want to know what happened too because it happened within their vicinity.
