"I found the defendant not guilty for the murder of Antonette Madrigal,"

Halos napatayo ako mula sa kinauupuan ko nung sinabi iyon ng judge. Chanler invited me to come here. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na pinanood ko ang trial niya. This is actually the third trial of this case. Malaki ito dahil sangkot ang anak ng isang senador. Ang babae kasing namatay ay sekretarya nito. Chanler was defending the man who've been acussed of the crime.

Ibang iba si Chanler kapag nasa trial at nasa korte. He is really dignified and serious as hell as he confidently speak throughout the trial.

"This trial is now adjourned,"

Nakita kong tumayo na si Chanler upang makipagkamay sa kliyente nito. Instead of a shake hand, his client pulled him into a hug. I can't help but smile upon seeing that. He was really thankful for Chanler because he handle the case very well. I heard na mahirap lang ito at hindi kayang kumuha ng bigating lawyer. Chanler helped and volunteered for this case.

I really admire him for that. He's one of the best lawyers in town, and a highest paid if I may add. Pero tinanggap niya ang kaso ng walang kapalit. He did this for free and it was so noble of him.

Nagsitayuan na ang mga tao sa loob ng courtroom nung umalis na ang judge. Ako naman ay nanatiling nakaupo at hinintay si Chanler. Nung umalis na ang kliyente niya ay lumabas na siya ng court. Sinalubong ko naman siya.

He smile tiredly at me.

"Congratulations, Atty. Del Vecchio," I said as I opened my arms to him. He instantly close our distance and embrace me with his arms.

"You're so hot in your trial," Dagdag ko at humagikgik. He chuckled when he heard that.

"I'm the hottest when I'm inside of you," Banat nito na nagpapula ng mga pisngi ko. Kahit kailan talaga, napakapilyo. Nasa courtroom pa kami!

I just rolled my eyes at him. Hindi na ako tatanggi sa sinabi niya. He's just telling the truth.

"Well done, Attorney,"

Napabitaw ako sa pagkakayakap kay Chanler nung may nagsalita sa likod ko. Hinarap ko ito. Naramdaman ko naman na pumulupot ang braso ni Chanler sa bewang ko. As if protecting me.

"Senator Hernandez," Naging seryoso ang boses ni Chanler sa pagbati sa matandang lalaki.

Oh he's the senator! Bakit siya dumalo sa trial na ito? He is a busy man for sure but he made time to attend this trial.

Baka siguro dahil lahat ng ebidensya ay tinuturo ang anak niya na tunay na pumatay sa biktima.

"You just indirectly pinpoint that my son murdered her," The Senator answered with a hint of sarcasm on his voice.

"He won't be arrested if he's not the murderer," Matigas na sambit ni Chanler. His statement was meaningful and the man in front of us smirked.

"I heard you have a daughter," Sabi nito at tumingin sa akin. "And a gorgeous fiancé,"

Woah! Hindi ko ata nagustuhan ang sinabi nito dahil nahimigan ko ang pagbabanta sa boses niya. I unconsciously arch my eyebrows to this man. Kahit na bastos wala akong pakialam.

"And you must heard that I'm a Lee and a Del Vecchio,"

Hindi nagpatalo si Chanler. Well, if he's abusing his power as a politician we can backfire by saying our surnames. Hindi lang naman siya ang may kapangyarihan at pera.

The man bursted into laughters as he nod.

"Ofcourse," Sabi nito matapos tumawa. Tinalikuran na kami. His bodyguards surrounded him again, he stop midway and glance at us once again.
