I was now 22 and Zayn was 25. We had 2 children so far, Jasper Riley Malik and Zendaya Rose Malik. We were planning to have more, but not yet.
Zayn was sat in front of the fire with the kids telling them stories. He was such a good Dad. I was arranging some photos when I came across a scan photo. A scan photo of Rory. I took it over to Zayn. He looked at it sadly.
‘Mummy, who’s that?’
‘That Jasper, is Rory’
‘Who is Rory mummy?’
‘Rory is your brother...’
‘We have a brother? Mummy where is he?’
‘He died, when he was born’
‘Mummy can we go and see him?’
‘If that’s what you want’

Zayn and I walked hand in hand through the graveyard with Jasper and Zendaya on either of our free arms. We approached the grave and the children placed down a bunch of flowers at the gravestone.
‘Mummy, Daddy, how old would he be now?’
‘He would be 7 now’
‘Do you miss him?’
‘Of course we do but we have to move on in life and we have you now. We have 2 gorgeous children and were getting married soon. I know we will never forget Rory but our life is perfect now.’
After saying goodbye to Rory yet again we walked home and continued our happy life together.
