"Are you sure you've checked every room?!" Reiner frantically asked.

"Yes, he isn't here!" Bertholdt replied, his forehead drenched in sweat. The two argued further until Annie interrupted.

"For god's sake, shut up." With one large leg swipe, the two were knocked onto the floor. "How about instead of standing here doing jack shit, why don't you go out and find him?"

"Well we don't know where he is do we?" Reiner exclaimed whilst returning a punch at Annie. She dodged gracefully around Reiner and threw a quick hook to his kidney.

"Stop fighting, you already know you can't win."

"Well I'm sorry for not being as strong as you Annie. We didn't all have a dad like yours."

"Don't you dare talk about my father. You know what he was like. Don't bring that up ever again."

"Sorry... I just... We need to find Eren if we're going to finish this."

"I know."

"Where should we look?"

"I'll go look around, you two stay here incase he comes back."

"Will you be alright on your own?"

"You doubt me?"

"No, no. It's just what if they came after him?"

"Then I'll kill them." With that, Annie was out the door, her search for the boy she didn't even like, had just begun.

- 1 hour later -

Through the bushes Annie scouted out the factory, nothing out of the ordinary, but something was off. The door was already open a bit, and there was a foul smell lingering in the air, the smell of death.

Voices could be heard from inside as Annie edged her way closer and closer to the door, not making a single noise. Once she reached the door, she took a quick peak. Two men. Uncountable amount of bodies. They couldn't even be called bodies anymore, just piles of bones and flesh. The sight wasn't unusual to her, this was definitely the work of a shifter, once they start, they don't stop. "This is fucked up, man." One of the men said to the other.

"What gave it away?" The other replied with a sarcastic tone.

"Shut the fuck up, I'm being serious. What would do this?"

"Really? You already know what."

"Them? But they'd only be kids by now."

"No, they'd be teenagers, with their hormonal fits of anger, this is when they're uncontrollable."

"So, what? We're supposed to capture these?"

"No." The man grew serious. "It's kill on sight." Annie gritted her teeth, these were her enemies. The unicorn. The symbol of whatever the hell they believed in. Annie could no longer contain her anger.

"Hey assholes." She shouted as she made her way into the factory.

"Who the hell are you?"

"What? You don't know me? I thought you'd at least know who you need to kill before you kill them."

"Oh shit."

"What's the matter? Come on. Kill me." The tone of Annie's voice was calm, yet it brought fear into the two men. A brief moment of silence passed. "KILL ME!" And in one swift move, both men had the back of their necks slit, killing them in an instant. "Fucking military police, you'd have been better off if you were never hired."

- 30 minutes later -

The door swung shut behind Annie, making a loud bang as it connected with the door frame. "Jesus Christ Annie." Reiner sighed as he jumped out his seat. "Did you find anything?"
