A majority of headcannons in Chapter 1-5 I don't use anymore. In all honesty they're probably the cringiest chapters in this book because I wrote them in 2020 and took a year break (which is basically a year of improvement). If you would rather skip that, you can start reading at Chapter 6 which I basically "restarted" my countries.
I may rewrite chapters 1-5 though.
Enjoy.
It was a quiet night, nothing but the noise of soft shuffling, mumbling whispers, and the loud noises of the movie on the television were audible. The countries in the nearly big room were close together, a few on the couch- a few on the floor.
Germany(🇩🇪) had known each and every country in the room for as long as he could remember. The day that he had been created out of somewhere, was in the year he had meet many countries- whether it was because of a meeting hosted by that country and Germany was forced to go, or his father had hosted the meeting at their house.
He remembered the very first country he had meet, besides his (unfortunately deceased) brother East and his (fortunately deceased) father. It was his closest friend, Poland (🇵🇱). Though how he had meet him wasn't really a charming experience. It was the day that his father had brought home Poland with the Soviet Union- to discuss how they would simply 'split him'.
The Soviet Union. Most likely the second country he had saw. He remembered how tall he was, how nearly blinding his red skin was depending on the light. His sharp glares he'd give Germany and East when they made the littlest of noises. Germany had always disliked the Union, especially after World War 2 had ended.
Though, he couldn't ever forget the weird smirks and soft touches from the USSR's hands when he saw Germany.
He remembered that day well, the day that the Soviet had collapsed. December 26, 1991, a day that brought Poland to a smile- Germany had celebrated with Poland that day. But right afterwards, he had also comforted the children that the USSR had.
Though the Union wasn't straightly a 'good guy', his children were still devastated to say the least. Germany cared a lot for the death (in a negative way), the Soviet did in fact spilt him and his brother up (along with France (🇫🇷), Britain (🇬🇧), and America (🇺🇸)). For good intentions, Germany still couldn't figure this out.
And what the Soviet did to him as well made it unforgettable to remember his face, let alone his intentions.
His thoughts were interrupted when America had purposely shoved himself into his shoulder, Germany growled a little. Giving his friend a sharp glare as America chuckled, staring right back at him.
"What germs?"
"Can you not?"
"Nahhh.." America winked, though it wasn't visible since he was wearing his sunglasses. For some reason- in the dark. Germany scoffed at his childish behavior, "How do you manage to be so immature yet so old.."
"What.."
"Never mind." Germany sighed, swatting his hand at America.
Germany and America's history wasn't always so nice, especially during the 1900s when America had declared war on Germany's grandfather (which made Germany furious against the American). And Germany couldn't forget about the agreement in splitting him and East. But ever since the World Wars had ended, they did have a pretty nice friendship... mainly because of what they can only agree on.
"Whateverrr.." America slurred. Not because he was drunk, Germany thought, but because he's a complete idiot. Germany noticed America going back to watching the movie that Poland had set up for them all.
