Chapter 12: Indecisive Decisions

Germany(🇩🇪) stared at Austria(🇦🇹) and shook his head, "No, he's been staying at Ukraine's for a while. Trust me when I say this though, if he was here... you'd know," He chuckled, feeling a bit hurt his brother isn't around more often.

Right after East got resurrected, he would always stay in Germany's house and barely left it. He had his room right across Germany's and only left it for food or his brother. It was upsetting to Germany and the other cities as they all knew East as this energetic kid who was always happy.

It left a mark in Germany's mind.

Berlin placed his device on his lap and sighed softly, "Get some friends then. Why not use that one app that... ah, what's it called? It's a communicating app..."

Austria snorted and looked over at Berlin, shaking his head as he looked back at Germany, "Everyone in Europe is a part of this group chat. Why don't I invite you?"

Germany stared at Austria, giving him a confused face, "If I weren't invited to begin with... they clearly don't want me in it."

"That's a good point, but it doesn't hurt to ask them," Austria grabbed his phone from his pocket and unlocked it, scrolling through his apps as he tapped on one of them named "Discord" and began to text into a server titled "European Shitheads".

As Austria typed, he was saying what he was writing, "...can I invite Germany into this server?" He reread it a few more times before confirming he sent it by saying "send". Looking back up at Germany, Germany sighed.

"I doubt they'll let me in," Germany crossed his arms, not feeling the best about this whole situation considering he hasn't made up with a majority of Europe.

"I say it's a rather mixed response," Austria leaned back into the couch, feeling his phone vibrate as he looked back and saw some countries respond.

Austria read all the responses and looked back at Germany who was fidgeting with his fingers. He could tell his cousin pretended to not care but was nervous nonetheless.

"I say we can give it a try," Austria smiled softly as Germany nodded in response, grabbing his phone out and unlocking it.

"Do you... even have Discord?" Austria placed his hand out for Germany's phone as Germany handed it over.

"I've heard of it... I'm pretty sure America(🇺🇸) wanted me to download it so we could talk more. But I never really used it," Germany sighed, looking over at Berlin who was back at typing things on his iPad but most likely listening in on the conversation.

"Yeah... He probably got busy," Austria mumbled, having Germany send him a friend request and accepting it through his own account. He then sent Germany an invitation and handed the phone back to its owner.

"Just click on the invite if you want to join. You don't have to of course," Austria smiled softly.

Germany stared at Austria and then back down at his phone as he read the invitation. Biting his lip ever so slightly, he rubbed his fingers against his phone case and shakily tapped on it.
