Ai's POV - Ouran Academy -After School

Ariana and Kaoru are happy. They've come to realize that the staff don't really care about if they're together or not... then again, why would they when the host club it a thing. I hated them. Both of them. Not as individuals but as a couple. They were a worse pair than jelly and chocolate chip cookies. It's like they're shoving their relationship down everyone's throats. I'm sick of it.

There has to be something that can ruin their relationship! Something that can completely annihilate it! Make it so at least one of them never wants to talk to the other one again. Yet... it feels like there's nothing. Both of them have proved that their loyalties lie with each other. Nothing could ruin Kaoru's view of Ariana... but maybe something can ruin her view on him. I'm sure I could get a club member to tell me, especially if one of them could be easily bribed.

Kaoru's POV - Host Club

"Hikaru! I told you not to tell that story!"

"But Kaoru, when your face heats up like that it's just the cutest thing!"

"Hikaru! Stop embarrassing me!!"

"You're so cute Kaoru!!"

"Both of you are so cute!!"

Clients squealed, I pretended to blush, and Hikaru continued to tell stories that may or may not be real.

Sometimes I found the Host Club pretty boring, especially when we didn't have a specific theme going, like today. Kyoya was so busy planning the ball coming up next week that he didn't have time to plan a theme for any day this week.

I tuned out of the conversation Hikaru was having with our clients. He was telling another story, one about how we scared a teacher on Halloween on year in elementary. Kyoya was observing everything, Honey was eating cake while girls and Mori watched him, Tamaki was doing his princely things, Haruhi was casually talking to someone. Sometimes everything in the Host Club was the same and I got bored.

I wonder what Ari is doing... Had she gone home already? Probably, the probability of her staying around after school to wait around for me were slim. i didn't blame her for going home right after school, especially with Ai and Mei picking on her.

I sighed and focused back on my brother's story.

"And the teacher screamed! And I mean screamed, she ran out of the classroom insanely quick." Hikaru chuckled, " I guess something about creepy little twins is unsettling."

The girls giggled.

Jeez, how much longer until I could just go home?

Ariana's POV - After School - Ouran Academy

I didn't usually stay after school but the library was open because of the Book Club. The only reason i decided to stay today is because I was hoping that maybe... Kaoru would want to come to my house today after school.

My mother told me to perhaps invite him over for dinner since they haven't met him as my boyfriend yet. While the idea made me anxious... I knew i had nothing to really worry about.

I read the next line in my book and then realized i was zoned out the whole page. Dang it!

I sighed and closed my book. How much longer until club time was over? I pulled out my phone, another 10 minutes... what was I gonna do for 10 minutes when I can't think about anything besides Kaoru. I guess I could just think about Kaoru... yea...

Last time Kaoru was at my house it was for our interview and he had our first kiss. It feels like it was forever go and yet it wasn't... it was only about 2 weeks ago... I sighed and pulled out my phone and texted Kaoru, "Hey, I wanna walk with you to my house. My mom invited you for dinner ^^"

I decided I would start walking to the Host Club now since There were about 8 minutes until 6.

Ai's POV - Music Room 3

I opened the doors to the "abandoned" music room. Everything was pretty normal, I had decided to try and get some answers from Honey-senpai using any means necessary.

I looked around and spotted Honey-senpai eating some cake at a table. I made cupcakes last night hoping they would help me out. I looked down at the box of sweets in my hands and walked over to Honey-senpai who at the moment didn't have any clients.

I smiled as I approached him and Mori, "Hi Honey-senpai! I made you some cupcakes!" I held them out towards the small boy.

His eyes lit up, "Oh boy! It must really be my lucky day!"

"Yep!" I pulled the cupcakes away, "But first I need you to tell me something."

His face changed to show curiosity. He tilted his head, "What do you wanna know?"

I sat down across from him and put the treats on the table, "How did Kaoru and Ariana meet?"

"Oh well you see they were in the same class! But then Ami-chan dragged Ari-chan into the host club and then Ari-chan caused this whole thing with the Which One Is Hikaru Game!" Honey started to stuff his face with the cupcakes.

Maybe this was the truth but such an answer didn't really satisfy me. There had to be more to it than that... right? Kaoru didn't just decide to go out with her, there's no way! A girl like Ariana can't get a Hitachiin twin to fall for her effortlessly!

"How did they start dating?" I asked.

"A dare from Tama-chan."

"A dare?"

"Mmhmm, Kao-chan has to get Ari-chan to fall in l-" Mori covered Honey's mouth.

"A dare that he didn't accept, you can leave now." Mori monotoned.

I got out of my seat and ran out of the Host Club, immediately caling Mei.

"Hey!" She answered.

"You'll never guess what I just found out!!"

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Kaoru's POV - Walking with Ariana

Ariana had sent me a message while I was still in the Host Club inviting me to her house. I was an excited and nervous bundle. This would be the first time I'd be at Ariana's house since I became her boyfriend, but there was no reason for me to be nervous. It's not like I've never hung out with Ariana before.

"Are you okay, Kaoru?" I heard Ariana's voice ring over my thoughts. I looked over at her and she smiled at me.

I smiled back before I replied, "Yeah. I just have something on my mind." I looked over at the fountain as we walked past it in its place at the front of the school. There was a soft breeze that blew the water out of place, making it wave in strange patterns.

"What's that?" Ariana asked.

I looked back at Ariana, "Just how pretty you are!" I answered her, gesturing towards her with my hands.

"K-Kaoru!"

"What?" I chuckled.

"You...you can't say stuff like that..." She looked down at her shoes.

"Why not?"

"Because... because... you just can't!"

I wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer to me, "But I can." I smiled, "I'm your boyfriend aren't I?"

She looked up at me, "Yea..."

"Then I don't see a problem with it!"

We continued walking to Ariana's house and while I would have much rather asked one of her drivers to take us home, I didn't mind walking with Ari. It was relaxing.

Kaoru's POV - Smith Estate

We eventually got to Ariana's house, seeing the beautiful outside. We walked to the door and then inside.

Inside, I saw the same interior that had existed the first time that I had come to the house. Why would they have completely renovated the place though? It's not like it's been that long since I was last here.

Then I heard footsteps on the floor and I saw Hoshi in front of me.

"Oh hey Kaoru!" she began, "And how are you?"

This 14-year-old girl was wearing a low-cut v-neck crop top and a pair of the shortest shorts I've ever seen. It was way too inappropriate for someone her age, but that seemed to be a theme with her.

"I-uh-" As much as I hated to admit... it was extremely distracting, "I'm-uh- I'm good..."

Ariana grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from her sister. She pulled me up the stairs and took me to her room, leaning her back on the door to close it.

She held the door handle firmly behind her as she looked at me, "Sorry about Hoshi," she apologized.

I stood in front of her, "It's fine..."

"She can be... a bit much sometimes..." She took her hands off of the door handle and put them in front of her, holding her right wrist.

"Yeah. I don't know what I'd do if Hikaru was my younger brother... or if my sister was closer to mine and Hikaru's age..." I put my finger to my chin, pondering how different my life would be.

"You and your brother definitely wouldn't have a psychic link," Ariana laughed.

I laughed too, "Yeah."

"And you guys wouldn't be identical either because you wouldn't be twins," Ariana pointed out.

"Yeah... and-" I cut myself off, realizing that if Hikaru didn't exist, I wouldn't be in the host club and then I would've never met Ariana.

Ariana walked to the other side of the room and sat down on her bed, crossing her legs after sitting. She carefully put her hands, palms down, on her thighs. I sat down next to her, placing my hand on hers.

Ariana looked at me and smiled, "I love you Kaoru..." She leaned in towards me and our lips touched for a moment.

Ariana's door burst open, and at the worst time, I might add, "Mom said to call you down for dinner!" I heard Hoshi yell from the doorway.

Instantly, Ariana pulled away from me, getting up from the bed, "Okay. We'll be down in a minute," Ariana said, pointing Hoshi out the door.

I saw her roll her eyes and then turn to leave. After a moment, I heard her noisy footsteps on the stairs as she walked down them.

Ariana walked towards the door, "Well, we should probably get down there for dinner..." As she spoke, her voice was soft and gentle.

"Okay..." I walked out of her room with Ariana and she closed the door behind us. I stepped down the stairs walking to where Hoshi was, Ariana not far behind me.

"Wait, where's mom and dad?" Ariana asked.

Hoshi stood in the kitchen, holding a cup, "Oh, they left," Hoshi smirked, holding the cup to her face.

"But didn't you say that mom and dad-"

"Yes, but then they left!" Hoshi sassed, "Besides, I think it was very nice of me..." she smiled and then walked to the dinner table, leaving us to only follow her.

"To?" Ariana questioned as we walked to the table as well.

"Make us dinner, of course!" Hoshi exclaimed, gesturing towards the food on the table, "I made an amazing dinner because we have an amazing guest over and amazing guests require amazing and special dinners and, I think, my dinner's a special treat," she clasped her hands together in front of her face.

"I-umm, thank you for the food, then?" I tried. I wasn't sure if that was true or not, but it was food nonetheless.

"Yea... thanks Hoshi" Ariana thanked her as well.

We both sat down at the table and started to eat.

Hoshi was staring at me, smiling. How could she look at me with those lust filled eyes, knowing that Ariana and I were in love? I looked at Ariana, she didn't seem too happy about it. I could tell that despite her trying to be nice to her sister, the fact that Hoshi was throwing herself at me made that pretty difficult. To say the least, dinner was very awkward.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Ariana's POV - After dinner

Of course, Hoshi was wearing something that she shouldn't be wearing, I mean this is what happened the last time Kaoru was here. What did I expect? I really didn't know... I couldn't have expected her not to try to seduce my boyfriend, but in the back of my mind, I hoped she would have behaved. After all, I felt like... we were finally getting along like we should... but then she goes and pulls this shit! I don't know if I can even try and trust her anymore...

After dinner, Kaoru and I went to one of the gardens at the estate and sat down on a bench.

"Dinner was good," Kaoru smiled, looking at me.

I looked at him, feeling myself smile, too, "Yeah. I guess Hoshi wasn't trying to poison me..."

"Well, if she was trying to kill you, I think you'd already be dead," Kaoru chuckled a little bit, "You know, killed in your sleep?"

I shrugged, "Yeah. I guess."

There was a pause in our conversation as I took a deep breath, trying to calm every small jitter in my body. It felt like a lifetime before our conversation started up once more.

"Hey, Kaoru?" I didn't even bother looking at him, I couldn't. For some reason all my doubts and fears were holding me down.

"Yea?"

"You... You wouldn't leave me for Hoshi...right?"

"Of course not!" Kaoru grabbed my face lightly and turned it to look at him, "Ari... your sister could never compare to you..."

"But... surely... she's more pretty... and confident and stunning to look at!" I felt my heart beating out of my chest, my body being pumped full of adrenaline. I felt like I could run a whole marathon and then some more, "Surely you can do better than me Kaoru! Surely you can find someone more sure of themselves than me..."

"Ari... why are you so insecure about us?" Kaoru stared at me, concern written all over his face, "You're the most beautiful person I've ever met... inside and out... you need to give yourself more credit... I love you... plain and simple."

I leaned into him and he wrapped his arms around me and we sat there for a while. Letting the world spin while we just sat... doing nothing but sitting in the embrace of the other.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Ariana's POV - Ariana's Room

It was getting a bit cold outside so Kaoru and I decided to go back inside. He would have to leave soon, but that didn't mean that we could spend some time together until then.

Kaoru and I were lying down on my bed, cuddled up next to each other.

Kaoru leaned down and kissed me.

"What was that for?"

"I love you. Am I not allowed to show that?"

"I mean... You are but-"

"Then let me kiss you."

He kissed me again and soon enough things escalated to more than kissing and slight touching.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Ai's POV - Her house with Mei

"A dare?" Mei questioned.

I nodded, "I knew I'd get answers from that little brat. If this is true we can use it to break them apart."

"But... you wouldn't get Kaoru..."

"If I can't have Hitachiin, then no one can. Especially not that stupid freak!"

If Ariana wanted Kaoru, she'd have to get over the fact that their whole relationship is built on a dare. Knowing her... the chances of that are slim...

I was going to use this information to ruin their perfect little relationship even if it kills me.
