Chapter 8 - There's No Going Back Now

Tamaki's POV - The Car

Honey was sleeping on Mori's shoulder, Ariana was sleeping on Kaoru's shoulder.  Kaoru had his head resting on her head, also asleep.  Kyoya was writing something down and Hikaru was taking a picture of his brother and Ariana.  Haruhi was sleeping on my shoulder.   I turned to look at her.  So peaceful and sweet.  I smiled.

Kaoru's POV - Sunday Morning

I was getting ready to go over to Ariana's house for the project.  I put on my shirt, grabbed my phone and ran downstairs. 

Yesterday was fun, and then embarrassing, then fun again and then embarrassing again  and I knew Hikaru wasn't going to let me live down the fact that Ariana and I were leaning on each other sleeping.

"Hey Kaoru," speak of the devil.  My brother came racing after me down the stairs, "Can I come with you?"

"What?  No.  This is for school, not a hang out thing.  Now have you seen my interview questions?" 

"Nope.  Oh by the way look at this." He put his phone in front of my face.

A picture from yesterday evening in the car.  Ariana was leaning on my shoulder and my head was resting on hers.  Both of us were asleep.  I felt my face flush; I glared at my brother and turned away continuing to look for my interview questions.

"Aw look at you you're blushing." Hikaru laughed.

"Shut up!  I'm not."

"Come on it's not that bad.  You just fell asleep.  Besides it was cute."

"I thought you hated her." I found the paper with my interview questions and looked at my brother.

"That was before I found out how cool she was... and how much she cares about you."

I sighed, "Whatever you say Hikaru, I gotta go." 

I ran out the door and got into my car.  I told my driver where to go and off we went.  It was a bit chilly out but I suppose that winter is right around the corner.

Ariana's POV - Sunday Morning

Last night was sweet, that is until after I told Ami about it.  She flipped out saying that he's in love with me.  Even if he likes me I know for a fact he doesn't love me, it's too soon for anyone to be in love.

I put on a sweater and some tights and went down stairs.

"You're having a Hittachiin twin come over and you're gonna wear that?" Hoshi scowled at my outfit.  She was wearing a white lace dress with a black belt (pictured).

"I'm not trying to impress him with my looks.  He's just coming over to work on the project."

"I doubt that, he invited you to the amusment park yesterday."

"There were 6 other people there.  It wasn't a date."

"Well if you insist, I'll just show him what I've got."

"You're 14 you've got nothing to show."

"Except my kissing skills.  And then the next time he comes over it'll be for me, not you."

I rolled my eyes.  Hoshi just wanted everything I had.  She wanted to rub it in my face that she was better than me.  That everyone who cared about me chose her instead.  Except for Ami, that's what really got me to trust her, the way she just said no to Hoshi's BS.
