jade sighed for the nth time around. wala ni isa sa mga kaibigan niya ang sumasagot ng mga tawag. malalakas na kulog at kidlat ang bumabalot sa langit dahilan para balingan ito ni timothy.
"put your phone down, mapapahamak ka pa dyan," then he continued driving, eyes on the road. jade had nothing to do but to follow him.
naiwan ang kanyang kotse kung saan niya ito pinark, at hindi niya alam kung saan napunta ang tatlo pa nyang mga kaibigan.
all she remembered was timothy dragging her when she tried running to her car. dinala niya ito sa sariling sasakyan, kahit pa basang basa na silang dalawa, at sinabing hindi agad matatapos ang ulan.
"this will probably continue nonstop, doon muna tayo sa condo. i'll just tell them to follow us para doon na mag-usap."
"how about jennie and rylie? hindi nila alam kung saan ang condo mo-"
"jansen could take care of that. kasama niya na ang mga yun ngayon panigurado."
"and my car?"
"walang kakain don," malamig na sambit lang nito.
jade rolled her eyes, stopping herself from talking again. napabalikwas ito ng maalalang nasa condo nga pala niya si zyrel, malamang na nagaalala na ngayon sakanya dahil sa lakas ng ulan, kulog at kidlat.
"what's wrong?" he panicked and glanced at jade. "nilalamig ka?" then he turned off his aircon.
agad itong umiling at nagiwas ng tingin. "hindi, wala.. okay lang."
he said nothing, then she noticed they were finally entering a gate. condominium buildings was spotted at inihinto ni timothy ang kotse sa isang gilid ng parking lot.
"let's go."

when timothy opened the door of his condo, she realized how fancy it was. malawak at mukhang pang pamilya nga. lima ang pintuan at malaki ang daanan patungo sa kusina.
"have a seat," he removed his jacket. "kukuha lang ako ng damit mo para makapagpalit ka."
she remained standing, still nervous at the fact that zyrel is probably here. inikot nito ang kanyang tingin sa paligid at muling pinagmasdan ang condo.
a door suddenly opened... revealing a small, handsome kid running towards timothy.
"zian!" jade saw how timothy's eyes glistened in happiness, waiting for the kid to hug him. that moment, she had nothing to do but to stare at them.
bago pa man ito makapagreact, zyrel went out from the same door, giggling as she watches timothy and the kid hug each other.
"kanina ka pa nyan hinihintay!"
turn around, run away and cry- are the things she wanted to do right at that moment, but she couldn't. her foot remainded frozen, her eyes glued at the three people infront of her, happily smiling.
