It was already 8pm when I'm done preparing myself. I just wore a red dress, red stilettos and a cardigan.
I put a light make up and turned my hair into messy bun. I was about to open our main door. When I saw, Rhys, standing in front of his car. He looks great in his suit huh he's like a damn model.
"Hey" I snapped.He looked at me stupefy.
"What's with that look" I asked him.
"Uh nothing let's just go " he said. He opened the door for me that simple gesture made my heart beats fast.
He drove silently and always glanced at me. What's the problem of this guy may masama ba akong ginawa na ikinagalit niya. He always clenched his jaw everytime he glace at me. I couldn't stand it anymore.
"What" I raised my brow.
"Nothing " he then avoided his gaze.
"Why do you keep on glancing at me ano bang meron sa mukha ko? " I interogated him.
"You look.... " he paused and shooked his head.
"I look what? " I asked.
"You look sexy and pretty" he sighed .
My face heated ,really he finds me sexy and pretty? For a guy like him? For real. I was sitting still. Binabaliw ata ako nang lalaking ito. Sanay na akong masabihan na maganda at sexy but it's something that I couldn't understand. There's this feeling na di ko maintindihan, It wouldn't happen no.
"Bolero" iyon lang ang tanging nasabi ko.
We arrived at the venue, Rhys, held my waist as we're leading to our table. Nandoon na si Mommy and Daddy. And I saw two couple na kamukhang kamukha ni Rhys, manang mana ah. They're smiling habang papalapit kami. I kissed Mom and Dad's cheek. Pinakilala ako ni Mommy sa mga magulang ni Rhys.
"Btw, this is my daughter ,Qeleigh Bliss Azarcon" I smiled at them.
"Nice to meet you, hija" she said then kissed my cheek.His Dad smiled at me.They seems nice huh but their looks can be deceiving. Rhys told me a while ago that we have the same situation. Rhys pulled out a chair at pinaupo ako doon at magkatapad kami nang upuan.
We started eating and they talked some random stuffs. Tahimik lang kaming dalawa ni Rhys habang kumakain. In the middle of our dinner they talk about our engagement party. And it seems annoying that they planned it without hesitation. As if na hindi kami ikakasal hindi man lang ba nila naramdaman na ayaw namin.
"So the engagement party will be next week " my jaw literally dropped. I look at Rhys with the same reaction.
