I looked at Lucy who looked at Caspian who looked at Edmund looking at Eustace.

"This is mad," I whispered quietly to my self, but a blow of fiery breath let me know Eustace heard me. "Sorry." I mouthed.

"A dragon jewel is always enchanted only a fool wouldn't know that." Edmund hissed.

"No someone whose not from Narnia wouldn't know either," I honestly felt bad for Eustace, no he wasn't any sweetheart back in England but he is just a kid, and no one deserves to be turned into a dragon.

"Caspian what are we going to do?" I asked, Caspian kept quiet for a moment before he started to give orders.

I laid a bed for Lucy and Gael before turning to get more wood for the fire Eustace so helpfully started.

"Need some help." I turned to see Lucy had her hands buried in her pocket.

"I got it lu why don't you go rest." I motioned to the bed near the fire

"I'm not a baby remember?" She laughed making her way toward me, she picked up a few pieces of wood.

"Erica, can we talk?" I looked at Lucy who Almost seemed to be on the verge of tears.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked pulling her into a hug.

"I want you to come back with us." I sighed and hugged her tighter.

"I'm so sorry lu." I had nothing to say, I knew I hurt her, Lucy been my closet friend almost a sister since I've met her, letting her go would be the saddest thing. But I knew I wouldn't be doing her any good by going back.

"I feel like I'm losing a big part of my life." She sobbed "Me too."

"If you don't want I can talk to Edmund he can go to America with Susan and Peter, we can stay together." With Lucy's words, I could no longer hold my tears back. Not having anything to say to Lucy was the first time for both of us, I felt as if I was losing My own sister.

From the Corner of my eyes, I could tell Eustace was looking at us. I let out a small laugh and sniffles "I'm not leaving now silly." We pulled out our hug and she whipped her tears.

"I wish Aslan was here." She said. "Me too." I smiled.

Lucy finally laid down with Gael and I threw more wood in the fire. I notice Caspian and Edmund talking across the Camp Fire.

"Erica, have you cried?" Caspian asked taking me by surprise, and as if it was reflex Edmund quickly sat up looking at my face concerned.

"I was telling Lucy-" I stopped myself self-realizing I never actually told Edmund I wouldn't be returning.

Caspian became quiet, and so did I .

"Tell Lucy what?" Edmund asked growing more confused. "Erica?" Caspian questioned if I was ready to tell him. I sighed and nodded. Caspian stood up before patting Edmund on the shoulder and going to his bed far across the fire.

I played with the end of my coat.

I sat next to Edmund for some reason I could meet his eyes.

"I would like to say, this decision I made was not done lightly, I have thought it through and I completely know what I'm doing." I glanced at his face that was lit up by the fire." His brown eyes fixed on the side of my face wasn't helping my nerves either.

"Erica." He whispered, "tell me."

"I have decided," I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"I have decided I-" as if the words wouldn't fall from my lips, I started feeling anxious.
