After the awkward talk with lucy last night my thoughts kept me awake. I woke up bright and early to get ready so I wouldn't have to face her, especially after I told her that I cheated on her brother with her older brother. As I Sighed and stood up, I looked over at lucy's bed she was sound asleep we wouldn't be arriving for another half an hour or so.
Once I steped out I saw that the whole crew was already at work.
"My queen why are you already awake?" I turned around to see reepicheep, I smiled and shrugged.
"I guess I couldn't sleep, also you don't have call me Queen, Erica is just fine." "Of course Erica."
"Where is caspian?" I asked. "Well your brother has already been up since dawn helping." Reep said as we walked down the deck.
"Erica I think you should talk to your brother, I know he doesn't show it, but the last time you left he was a mess. He really missed you, I dont want that to happen again this time." I stayed quite .
"Reepicheep, i-, Dont worry about him I will talk to him." I assured him. Reepicheep smiled, "I think its time to feed our other board guest , Eustace." I laughed at Reepicheep.
"Be careful he collects Insects for "Study," That kid is all sorts of weird."
"We are all a bit weird." Reep said before going away, leaving me alone looking over the endless waters.
"Your up early?" I looked to my side to see Edmund has joined me. I didnt say anything but smile.
"Erica?" I looked at him, and I felt guilty...... So I looked away.
"Yeah..." Edmund continued to stare at the side of my face trying probably figure out why I was being so quite.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I took a deep breath.
"Do you hear that?" I asked him "What do you mean?" Edmund asked confused.
"The sound of the waves crashing on side of the boat, the fresh smell of bread being cooked, the view of the water, while I stand here in my home, Im finally home Edmund Im doing sooo good." I smiled at him
He smiled back at me, his eyes wrinkling at the side. "Your right everything feels '"soo" good."
We didnt say anything after that, we stayed quite, but after a very long time each others presence, didnt feel awkward , but normal, maybe saying goodbye wont be so hard after all.

"Alright we should start looking for the sword, gather food and water." I told the Lord Drinian.
Lucy, Edmund, Caspian and I headed out looking for the sword.
"Look I dont think we where the first ones here." Caspian pointed to the rope wrapped around a rock to go down.
"We should check it out." I said, "I will go first." I told them. once I got down to the cave the first thing that caught my eyes was the shiny gold figure under water.
"Poor man...." Lucy said as they all walked up to the lake.
"Its a lord." Caspian said. I looked at the man submerged under the water transformed into gold
"But how ?" Edmund asked kneeling to the water.
"Step back." I said before grabbing a stick I put its tip in the water and it started to turn to gold I quickly dropped it and soon its was gold.
"Look a sword." Lucy pointed out, Edmund quickly retrieved it and handed it to me.
"Well its safe to say that its one of Aslan's" I smile at Lucy.
I look down at Edmund who seemed intrigued by this pond. He dips in a shell only for it to come back as gold.
"Lucy do you know what this is." He snaps his heads toward her. She shakes her head no. "Whoever has access to this pool will have all the power and money in the world." I look down at Edmunds lustful eyes.
"Nobody can tell us who to live with and what to do, we could be so rich."
"I'm sorry Edmund but you cant take anything out of Narnia remember." I tell Edmund.
"And who is to stop me." He stands up, "I will." I look at caspian who stood in front of me Edmund slowly stood up.
"First it was peter, now its you when will it be my turn, Im high king ! I dont need to be told what to do."
"To think you matured over time, turns out your exactly the same if not worse!" The both draw their swords pointing it to the others neck.
"STOP IT ! Both of you." lucy stood between them.
"Drop it Edmund-" Lucy looked to her brother who lowered his sword and threw the shell down.
"Caspian," I whispered, taking the sword down, i never seen him so upset. Lucy and Edmund started walking away, Caspian ran his hands down his brown locks, clearly upset."
"Im not leaving this time.." Caspian turned around to face me, his facial expression confused, this was the second time I mentioned staying back, this time caspian understood.
"What are you taking about?" I sighed and looked up at my brother. "I have no reason to return Caspian." My eyes gets glossy and i turn my head around.
"Are you sure?" Caspian frowned as he came closer. I nodded and let a tear escape.
"I mean last time, I was head over heels in love with Edmund but now I have no reason. plus space is limited there, and I missed you so much.." Caspian pulls me to a tight hug.
"I would be happy with any choices you make.-As long as your happy."
We headed back for the boat and I pulled the sword out. "What do you think is going to happen next?" I look to reep "only time will tel-" reep words are cut short when chaos breaks on the deck.
"WE ARE BEING ATTACKED BRASE YOURSLEVES!" I turn as quickly as my heels can turn me and my eyes fall wide. A huge creature wings Almost as big as the boat coming straight towards us. I grab A pair of bow and arrows and position my self.
"ARCHERS!" I yell "STEADY!" "MY COUNT!" "NOW!" I draw the string back and between my fingers the bow escapes. The dragon pulls back before heading towards us again.
"Ahhhhh" I turned to my side to see Gael hiding under a tarp.
"Lucy!" I get her attention and motion her to the little girl.
As I turn back around I shoved on the ground ." I turn to see the dragon has positioned it self on the sail reep starts chasing up to the top and before I can pull my bow the dragon sets off. I breath I. Relief and turn back to Lucy and Gael, you guys okay. Lucy nods and Gael follows. I walk to the main deck and that when my eyes catches it again, but this time a figure is cluched between its hands.
"EDMUND!" I yell as the dragon gets close enough for me to see.
Hey y'all so sorry again for the late updates I know it's sucks for all you that reads my crappy reading. Which is why I want to thank each and every single one of you for your support even if my books aren't that big, I wanna thank my reader for everything. Also, I hope you all are staying safe and keeping at least 6 feet's away from people or staying home, this COVID -19 is no joke. Ily all and will try to post quick updates from now on.
