We all limped to the train, all of us hurting in our own way. Leon helped Claire walk as Ada lead the way refusing help from Leon as I brought up the rear with a sleeping Sherry.

My body was on autopilot, too tired and hurt to complain about the heavyweight in my arms. My arms were on the verge of giving out, but |I stayed firm, the cable car wasn't far.

It was quiet till Ada spoke up, "The cable car can take us to the NEST" she explained piquing my interest on how she knew so much. "As I said before the wristband the kid has is our ticket to ride"

"Nice"

"What a group we are" Ada called out as we crossed a bridge. "All got one foot in the grave," she said dryly.

Finally, we made it to the car, Ada moving out of the way for Sherry and me to unlock it. With some difficulty, I managed to strip Sherry of her bracelet and held it to the scanner.

It flashed green and the door slide open. I walked in first and set Sherry down on one of the benches. She groaned in pain curling in on herself and shivered from her growing fever.

I took off my backpack, setting it down on the floor and stripped off my tattered sweater putting it on Sherry. Even with all the rips and tears, the large sweater had, it did the job to warm her up.

Claire took a seat next to Sherry and motioned for me to lay Sherrys head on her lap instead of the hard bench. I did what was asked, making sure Claire had the girl before heading over to Ada and Leon.

Ada was sitting near the car's controls as Leon messed around with the panel setting everything up.

"This may be a one-way ride. Still up for it?" she asked as I came over to stand next to Leon. "Without hesitation" I answered as Leon nodding in agreement, pulling down the lever.

"This cable is bound to NEST, do not exit until the final destination" the same feminine voice from earlier instructed as the cable car jolted to life before steadily making its journey deeper under Raccoon City.

I headed back towards Claire and Sherry, collapsing in the bench across from them. I closed my eyes and rested my head against the wall letting out a long sigh as the trains rumbling began to lull me to sleep.

To avoid that I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees, my hands cupped together in front of me as I stared into space. Claire nudged my foot with hers pulling me out of my trance, I looked up as she finished speaking, but I had no clue what she had said.

"Huh?" I asked tilting my head with an eyebrow raised.

"How are you holding up?" Claire repeated as she brushed stray pieces of Sherry's hair off the girl's pained face.

"Okay, I guess," I answered leaning back again bringing my legs up to sit crisscross. "I'll be hurting tomorrow that's for sure" I continued honestly rubbing my tired eyes and sighing heavily. "I just want her to be okay"

"Yeah.." Claire agreed, frowning down at Sherry.

"You know what I think? Leon spoke up as he chatted with Ada, catching Claires and mines' attention. "I can't wait for the FBI to raid Umbrella headquarters and take those bastards to justice" I held back a laugh when he said that, sounding like a typical TV cop.

"I agree.. but to be clear. You're not working in official capacity. This is a federal case. Once we get the G-Virus. I'm back on my own" Ada said, turning to look at Claire and me.

"Hey, Trust me?" she asked which I ignored, not really trusting her. If it was a federal case, wouldn't she have some type of back up?

"You trust me?" Leon shot back resting his hands on his hips studying Ada.
