Chapter Three: The Score

Do you know how boring studying is?? Me and Irene have been studying for the past two weeks and boy am I tired of it.

The test is finally approaching and I'm nervous as hell. I don't want to waste all my allowance on buying meals for a girl who isn't even grateful for it. The last time when I bought lunch for her at the cafeteria because she "left her wallet" at home (that is complete crap, she never leaves her wallet at home. She's always bragging and flaunting her wealth. She even said she needed to "count her money" to "make sure that it's all there". She just needed an excuse to show off her 30 bucks in her wallet. That's not even a lot of money!!) she took the food after I played and left to sit with Wendy..... Not even bothering to say "thank you for the meal". Spoiled brat.

Today is Saturday and Irene decided to come over to my house to study since the test will be on Monday.

"Mom I'm bringing a friend over today".

"Baekhyun right? Or is it Momo? That girl is so clingy, I told you to stay away from her but you NEVER liste-"

"No Mom, it's not any of then. It's this new girl at school. We have a project to do". I said rolling my eyes at her and cutting her off.

"She better not be like Momo or so help me, I will-"

Ding Dong...

That must be her now...  I open the door to see my dad and Yeji with a group of girls behind her.

"Oh.... Dad its you".

"Were you expecting someone else?"

"Yeah kinda..... I'm inviting over a friend to do a project", I said moving to the side to let him and the girls enter. "Who are these girls Yeji?"

"My friends obviousl-"

"You have friends?!? That's amazing Yeji-kins" I said whilst smiling earning giggles from the two other girls.

"Whatever..... this is Chaeryeong and this is Yuna", she said pointing to the girls with their respect names.

They both bow and say a small "hello" which I return with, "Hello! I'm Yeji's older brother Y/n", I also give them a smile to show that I'm friendly.

"Omo.... his smile is so....", said the girl named Yuna. She mumbled the last bit but I'm pretty sure I know what she said.

"I know right.... he's so c......." whispered the other girl named Chaeryeong. She also mumbled the last bit.

"Yah!! Stop saying weird stuff like that!", Yeji shouts earning a shocked look from her friends. "Let's just go to my room". She sighed and stomped up the stairs followed by the two girls.

I laugh at the anger shown in my little sister when suddenly the door bell rings again. That has to be Irene...

I open the door and stare the girl in the eyes. She has her hair in a ponytail and the most casual sweater and shorts on. I've never seen her out of uniform....

"Hey idiot! Ready to study?" She beamed with a wide smile on her face.
My heart lightly fluttered seeing her smile like that. Gosh, what is she doing to me...

"Sure come in!" I said smiling at her.

She walks inside the house and looks around in awe. Is she really amazed by my house? Or is she trying to mock me?

"Wow your house is better than I expected, I thought you lived under a rock!" She said giggling. Of course she's mocking me, she wouldn't be Irene if she didn't.

"Hah hah, funny Irene, very funny".

"Who might this lovely young lady be?", my Mom asked in an interested tone.
