"Slow down a bit Y/n! I'm tired!" Irene says, gasping for air.

"No way! You just need to speed up" I say, looking back at her tired face. I chuckle lightly and continue running.

I run along the pathway of the park, leaving Irene behind. As I speed through the park, I pass a icecream truck.

A special icecream truck.

This icecream truck was the first place me and Joy went together...

It's been a whole week since me and Joy last talked. I can't believe she cut me off.... I don't understand why she did it.......... actually, I kinda understand why, but it didn't this she would cut me off because of that...

I stare at the icecream truck for a good while until Irene snaps me back to reality..

"Y/n! Finally! You slowed down!" Irene says, trying to catch her breath.

I look back at her and smile, then I dart my eyes back to the truck.

"You want some icecream?" Irene asks, placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Nah.... I'm good." I turn to her and smile.

"So what is it?" She ask, rubbing my back slowly.

"I-It's nothing. I just thought of something..." I say, looking at the ground.

"Of course it's something.... tell me..." Irene said, in a calm tone.

"I'm fine seriously.. Stop being so worried about me. Your acting like your my girlfriend." I say, in a semi-serious tone.

Irene glares at me before she removes her hands from my shoulder. She scoffs at me and continues walking on the trail.

I stare at the truck for a few more minutes until I finally realize Irene is long gone. I turn towards the trail and speed of in her direction.

I finally spot her, sitting on a bench and staring at a tree.

"Irene! Why did you leave me?" I yell, running to the bench.

"Don't act dumb Y/n, you told me to stop caring so I did." Irene says, not looking at me.

I sit down next to her and stare at her deeply. She notices that I'm staring at her and stares back at me. I smile at her.

"I was just, thinking about stuff. It has nothing to do with you. I was just upset..." I say, still smiling at her.

She scoffs and looks away from me with her cheeks tinted pink.

"Why are you upset? Can you at least tell me that? After you tell me I'll stop caring." Irene says, staring at the ground.

I move my gaze from her and stare at the ground. I sigh softly.

"I was thinking about Joy.. that icecream truck was the first place me and Joy went to. I'm just upset that we kinda don't talk anymore. What happened to our relationship" I said in a sad tone whilst staring at the ground.

She stares at me for a minute and sighs.

"Just stop thinking about it. Put your mind in something else." She says, trying to reassure me.

I look at her and give her a weak smile. I then turn my gaze back to the ground.

"I can't think about anything else... all I could think about is her... everywhere I go, something reminds me of her. This bench is where we ate icecream for the first time." I say, raising my voice a little. I sigh and let my head hang low.

"If you can't think about anything else then think about m-" She gets cut off the sound of my phone ringing. I slip it out of my pocket and answer.
