We had just got done moving our stuff to the new house, we were taking one last good look at the house before saying goodbye. "Wow, the house is way more prettier when it's empty" He says. I laugh, "yeah, it sure is." I look at him and smile, we both head for the door. "I forgot my Jacket, I'll be right back." He said, Turning to go get his jacket. "Hurry up, it's getting late, we don't want the police thinking we're robbing the place." He laughs, "I'll be quick, Gav, don't worry." He then goes to his old room.

After about 20 minutes I start getting concerned. Why was he taking so long? Was he going to the bathroom? We don't have toilet paper so if he was shitting, he'd have to wipe his ass with his hands. And he isn't a slow pee'er so I'm not sure what's taking him so lo-
Before I could finish my thought, I heard 3 gunshots, the echos bounced off the walls. I gasped and quicky ran into his old room to find someone standing over him. I run and slide to him and hold him in my arms. I look up at the figure...it was....

An Android

His breathing was hitched and lathered. "James! James, stay with me buddy, please..!" I beg. He coughs a few times and at this point, I was crying a river. I hear the gun drop and look at the Android. He looked....scared... But how? I thought Androids didn't feel anything...? I was drenched in his blood and so was the wooden floor. I look down at my 17 year old brother, who was on the verge of death. I heard police sirens and a slight smile appeard in the corners of my lips. "Keep fighting James...help is coming.." James shifts himself to get more comfortable.

I wasn't a doctor and I had no idea what to do in this situation, I just sat there with my brother bleeding out in my arms. "Stay with me...please...I need you..." I cried out. "I'm sorry Gavin...I can't fight it any longer..." He said. I look up and find the Android gone. There were shoe prints of blood trailing towards the door. I look back down to see my younger brother, dead in my arms. "James..? James!!

I heard my name, but...who was calling me..?
"Gavin!"
Again..
"GAVIN!"
I sat up breathing heavily. "Wha- Why- Wha-" I couldn't get the words out, I had tears falling down my cheeks and my nose was a little runny. "Gavin, are you okay!? What happened?" Nines asked.

I looked behind him to find the door had been busted down, "you..you busted M-My door.." Nines looks at the door and back at me. "I had to, it was my only choice."

Nines

I was checking the bathroom out until I heard something, it sounded like....crying..? Was Gavin crying? Why? Was he hurt? I go to his door and knock, "Detective, are you alright?"
No answer, I knock again, still no answer.
I knock louder and louder...
No answer. I saw a few options pop up.
A) Wait for answer
B) Bang on the door and yell
C) Break down door
I looked at the options carefully.
C) Break down door ✓
I backed up a little and ran at the door, The door knocked down with me on top of it.

I got up and saw Gavin in a pool of sweat and tears. I sat next to him. "Gavin?" I asked, no answer. I say his name again. Still no answer. "GAVIN!!" I yell, he sat up breathing heavily. "Wha- Why- Wha-" He struggled to get the words out. "Gavin, are you okay!? What happened?" I asked. He looked past me and looked back at me, "you..you busted M-My door.." I looked at the door and back at him. "I had to, it was my only choice." He puts his hands in his face, "I'm sorry...I..was having a nightmare..about..." He sighed. I looked at the time, it was midnight. "Gavin, do you want me to get you some water?" I ask, being nice. He nodded.

I got up and went to kitchen and got a glass and filled it up with ice and water. I then go back to Gavin who was drying his face with an old shirt. I hand him the cup and he takes it and drinks half of it and handed it back to me. I put it on the nightstand. "Are you done with the water, Gavin?" I asked. He nods and I grab the shirt from him and dip it in the water. "Look at me, please." He looks at me and I dab his face with the cold shirt.

Nines dabbed my face with the cold shirt he had dipped in the water. His face was so close to mine...My face started to heat up. He put his face a little farther from mine. "Gavin, are you okay? You're heart rate has increased by 12%" He said. "I'm fine, Nines. Thanks.." He smiled and continued cooling down my face with the shirt. "I'm glad you're being nicer Gavin. I like this version of you." I smile a little but it goes back to a frown. I look at him and he looked at me, our eyes met and I wanted to kiss him. I...I wanted.. to...

We studied each others faces before getting closer and closer. Our lips were connected in sync. I put a hand behind his ear and we shared a passionate kiss. We pulled away and I looked into his eyes. They twinkled in the moonlight..

"Gavin, are you okay? You're heart rate has increased by 12%" I said. "I'm fine, Nines. Thanks.." I smiled and continued cooling down his face with the shirt. "I'm glad you're being nicer Gavin. I like this version of you." He smiles a little but it goes back to a frown. He look at me and I looked at him, our eyes met and I felt something I've never felt before... What was this feeling...?

I looked away for a second and looked back at him and looked away again. I saw something but I wasn't sure what it was. I looked at him again. His cheeks had a light blue tint, was he... blushing...? I sigh and lay down on the bed, "you can lay here if you want... I've.. nevermind." I'm pretty sure he doesn't wanna hear my nerdy thoughts. Even though I act dumb and I make stupid mistakes, I was actually pretty smart. "I've read that when sleeping with someone, nightmares are reduced, so I'll stay here and sleep with you." I cough and my face turns dark red. I also have the dirtiest mind, and that did not help. "Sure TinCan" I said.

I scoot over to let him have room and he put the shirt down and laid down with me. I was blushing quite a lot actually. He held me in his arms and I was on the verge of falling asleep. "Goodnight, Gavin" He said. "Goodnight Nines.." Then, I was asleep.
