We're wandering through Seoul streets.

Me: So what do you want to do?

Hyunjin: Honestly I don't really know... what does teenagers like us do?

I let out a small laugh finding him cute but he seems ofended.

Hyunjin: It's stupid right? I don't even know what people do.

Me: No at all It's cute. Then let me be your guide today mister Hwang

That gave him back his smile. I take him to an arcade. He seems so fascinated by everything.

Me: So what to begin with?

Hyunjin: How about... everything?

We both burst in laugh.

Me: Then let's begin with this one.

We did every game possible including racing cars and dancing game. The last thing that was left was basketball game.

Hyunjin: Let's bet for this one!

Me: You better not to I'm the best at this game

Hyunjin: You don't know my capacity yet miss

Me: Alright then if I win lunch is on you today

Hyunjin: And if I do you have to grant me a wish

Me: Then hope you have enough money I think I'll feast today

Hyunjin: Don't you dream about it

And the game begin. I take a pick at him and laugh at his so serious face which deconcentrate me. But I recover quickly. The game lasts several minutes where it is very tight between us then the game finish. The score scrolls and ... to my amazement Hyunjin won with 1 point more than me. I laugh while he's jumping and dancing everywhere.

Me: Okay stop it you'll be in pain again

Hyunjin: Did you see that?! I won!

He takes me in his arms and makes me spin in the air.

Hyunjin: Don't forget my wish

Me: Alright but for now let's eat I'm hungry!!

Hyunjin: I want to try something new

Me: Did you ever eat fast food?

Hyunjin: ...not really?

I smile.

Me: Then let's go!

We go to a fast food that was nearby.

Me: So what will you take?

Hyunjin: I don't know.. choose for me I trust you!

Me: You know you shouldn't?

Hyunjin: Yet I choose to

I was kidding but this sentence made my heart flutter. I order and we go sit to eat. I look at Hyunjin who takes his first bit and laugh at his so amazed face. His eyes sparkle while he wriggle on his chair.

Me: So you like it?

Hyunjin: What you mean?! I LOVE it!

We ate most silently. All the gaming had made us hungry. I knew I was going to ruin the mood but yet I had to.

Me: Hyunjin...why don't you want to do the operation?

Hyunjin: So you've heard our conversation?

Me: Sorry I didn't mean to but you know...your mom wants the best for you I'm sure it also hurt her that there's this little chance of success but yet she wants to believe. 

He sighs and put down his food.

Hyunjin: I know I was mean to her I didn't intend to. But... I don't want to do the operation. I have to live for something even if it hurts sometimes.

I then understood. He was refusing it because of me. Because he promised me he won't leave me. Because he didn't want me to loose someone else.

Me: Hwang Hyunjin don't even think about it. I would like it even better if you're by my side but with a healthy heart and not with pain.

He looks at me without saying anything. How to convince him?

Me: And why are you so pessimistic? It's 10% that's a lot! And we have good doctors too. Please Hyunjin do it. Or you'll really not be by my side...

I look down. That's true. If he don't do it he'll not survive the doctor said it himself. I like better the fact that he tries than he just don't because of me.

Hyunjin: Alright give me just one week then.

I look back at him

Me: One week?

Hyunjin: Yes just one week to live like a normal teenager and I'll do it. But promise me you'll be here.

Me: I promise I won't let you
