I froze as I hear these words.He isn't serious right?

Me: Wh...what? 

He sighs as he looks really disappointed. What am I supposed to do?

Me: Felix I..I'm really sorry but-

Felix: Please just don't say anything. I know you like him. You're so bad at lying...

He gives me a sad smile.

But...how? When? I didn't see it coming. Most important: why?

Felix: You're asking yourself how it comes right? Haneul you really belittle yourself a lot. You don't see how much you're a good person don't you? I just loved the way you smile even after all what people did to you, I liked the fact that you were leaning on me when you had a difficult time and I wanted to protect the you whom I can relate in certain things. But guess that was one sided..

Me: No it wasn't Felix you're really important to me I swear without you I would be really lost right now I'm so sorry.

Felix: It's alright.

But it wasn't at all.

Felix: Just.. hope it's at least reciprocated with your love

He turns around and is about to go. No I can't let him leave me like that. Tears come in my eyes as I grab his hand.

Me: Felix.. please don't leave me.

He turns around and I see tears in his eyes too. He takes off my hand.

Felix: I'm sorry but I need some time.

And I watch helpless his back as he goes away, helpless.

I go back to class after a while. I look around hoping to see him sitting at his place but he isn't to be found anywhere. I sit at my place with a feeling of emptiness in my heart. I put my head on my desk but the hand of someone who pats me on the shoulder makes me lift it.

Hyunjin: Are you okay?

Me: Yes...don't worry

Hyunjin: What's wrong? Your eyes are red did you cry?

Me: Later please Hyunjin

I put my head on my desk again as the teacher comes in. I can't help but think about all the memories I have with Felix. He's my first and closest friend...
