Dean's POV

It was Ben's first day of preschool and I was a nervous wreck. Pacing around the house, I was worrying if I was ruining the carpet, but couldn't stop.

"Dean, it's okay. It's normal for you to be sad or nervous for his first day. But it's seriously alright." Dad said, "don't stress it kiddo."  He patted my shoulder.

"But he's growing up too fast." I whined.

"Suck it up buttercup. You think I was tap dancing with Bobby when you had a child at eighteen?"

"I know dad. "

He smiled at me, and slapped my arm.

"Ben is going to have a great time, plus you won't have to worry about finding so many babysitters. "

We both laugh, and I finally sit down. Sammy was getting Ben dressed, since Ben wanted to surprise me with his outfit. Little drama king.

"SAMMY, ARE YOU TWO DONE? WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!"

Sam came out of the room, carrying Ben.

"Daddy! PawPaw!!!" Ben squealed. "Looks I like daddy!" He pointed at his Metallica shirt he was wearing, he had a tiny flannel on over and had jeans on.

"Well look at the kiddo, you are officially dressed like a Winchester."

He posed for the camera, and we drove him off to school.

Cas showed up right on time. I smiled as he held me tight in his arms.

"Bee, he will be fine. Seriously Dean. I think you're more worried than he is."

I nodded, and then kissed him. It was slow and sweet and felt amazing.

That's when I heard the key unlock the door, I abruptly sprang back from Cas and sat on the opposite side of the couch. He looked disappointed, if not a little hurt, but tried to smile at me.

Sam walked into the apartment, Jess behind him. He looked over at us amused, and she whispered something in his ear. He gave a silent laugh and nodded.

"Whatcha doing home already Sammy?" I tried to keep the nervousness out of my voice.

Jess and I needed to grab my newest copy of my book. Publisher came to meet us for lunch and I left it here. What are you two doing home?

He raised his eye brows.

"Dean here got sent home early, killing the vibes at work. I came to hang out," Cas had a genuine smile on his face now. No hint of sadness from a minute ago.

"That was very nice of you Castiel, we will just grab the pages and let you two boys hang out." She winked as the couple left to Sam's room and then returned.

Cas and I hadn't dared talked yet.

See ya. Jerk.
"Bitch. Jessica," we waved as they walked out the door.

Then I reached over to Cas.
"Where were we?" I moved to kiss him but he moved. I felt a pang if hurt.

"What's wrong angel?"

He looked upset now.

"Dean, why can't we tell your family yet? We've been together almost four months now. You said you were going to tell Sam." He sounded mad. I can't really blame him.

"I will, I just haven't found the right time."

He pouted. He still looked adorable though.

"Cas, I promise I will tell him. I swear, Angel I swear."

He smiled and kissed me. "Good. I hate hiding."
