One--Leo

Leo felt like he was going to be sick.

Jason was beating himself up about Piper waaaaaaaaaaay too much. He thought it was his fault that she'd said she'd hated him, while in truth, Leo was the one to blame. He gave Jason the stupid sleep syrup. It was like the Hunger Games all over again.

"You've gotta stop thinking about that, man." Leo fussed.

Jason looked up at him incredulously. "How can I? I mean, I really wish I could, Leo, but do you think it's even possible for me to think about something else?" He started to get louder, his face getting red. "She just told me that she hated me! What am I supposed to think about?!"

Leo held up his hands in fear that his beautiful face was about to get smashed in. "Calm down, Jason. You just have to--"

"I just have what, Leo?! Forget about it? Oh, now I see how it is! You want me to go talk to her about it, is that it, Leo?!" He was yelling now, probably loud enough for the girls to hear from below decks. "Well that's not what I'm going to do! If she hates me, fine! But I'm not just going to stand around here waiting for some stupid person to say they're sorry!" He flew off as fast as lightning, thunder crackling in the sky.

"Wait, Jason!" Leo ran to the rail of the deck, trying to see which direction Jason went.

"Leo!" Piper and Annabeth both ran up onto the deck, completely covered in black soot. "Leo, where is he? Where's Jason?" She looked like she was about to blow a vessel.

Leo just pointed. "H--he went that way."

Almost immediately, Piper ran to the side of the ship, and jumped over the rail.

"Oh my gods!" Annabeth gasped, running over to the rail.

Leo stumbled over to the side, still in a daze. He looked over, and he knew it wouldn't be good. The ship was at least twenty feet tall and it was like thirty feet from the land. But what he saw surprised him more than anything.

Piper was already halfway across the field, running like a gold medal Olympic track runner. What surprised Leo even more was that there was no glow. No special aura that indicated the gods were helping. She was just that desperate to get to Jason.

Leo couldn't help but smile. He knew it. Piper could never hate Jason. Why did he even think she did? That was the stupidest thing ever!

Leo found himself laughing out loud like a madman, Annabeth staring at him in confusion. "C'mon, Annie. We've got some work to do on my ship."
