Percy Jackson. Son of Poseidon. And apparently boyfriend to a very intimidating daughter of Athena.

That pretty much summed up everything he knew about himself. And with eight other panicking demigods in the area, it wasn't easy to think about anything.

And just because a screen went blank? It was obviously just some loopy evil monster guy trying to mess up communication that would in any way help a demigod. Villains were such jerks.

Percy wanted to scream at everyone to be quiet, but he was too busy trying to think about what the little boy had said... Something about medicine? And a nemo signing something? At least that's what Percy heard. He knew he was wrong. But was there really a way to fix his memories? He hoped so.

"Quiet!" Annabeth said in a loud authoritative tone. "Everyone calm down. Okay, now we just need to think this through and not--"

"Panic?" A cold voice hissed.

Everyone froze. Percy slipped his hand into his pocket, his hand closing around Riptide like it was his lifeline. He felt like he was supposed to say something.

"Who are you?" Percy called in the direction of the voice. "Where are you?"

There was nothing but silence for a few seconds, then another angry hiss. "Percccy Jackssson. We meet again. Come my sisters, get thy revenge upon this foul demigod who has slayed us all!"

Two more hisses went off in the dark.

Percy had a strange feeling like he knew that voice... But he couldn't remember exactly from where. It was a monster. One with a hiss...

"But first, let his friends suffer!"

Percy yanked Annabeth away from the sharp claws as they raked the air where she once stood. Thank the gods for his ADHD impulsiveness.

He uncapped Riptide quickly, slicing it across the air where the claws had dissipated to. A hiss of pain echoed through the cave, and everyone burst into action.

Beckendorf ducked as a pair of deadly fangs whisked the air in front of his face, taking out his sword and deflecting another handful of claws. Jason had his eyes closed in concentration, as if he were about to burst into flames. Annabeth was at Percy's back, her breathing heavy with surprise.

There was a soft hissing chuckle. "Demigods." It cackled. "Always think friends can save them. Always think there is a way to win. Di immortalis, a prophecy will unfold by the seventh eve from tonight."

Jason yelled out, lightning flashing through the dark air and landing on a figure Percy didn't realize had snuck up on him. It hissed with agony, bursting into gold dust immediately. Another hiss of rage filled the air. "You fools! You may have defeated my pathetic sisters Stheno and Euryale, but you will never escape me!"

Percy could tell Jason was concentrating again. Maybe on where the air was moving around something inhuman? Could he do that?

"Jason, don't!" Annabeth suddenly shouted, sounding fearful and urgent. "It's Medusa, you'll only make it wor--"

Lightning flashed again, the whole cave filling up with light.

Percy pushed Annabeth to the ground, suddenly remembering something fatal. "Close your eyes!" He yelled, making sure he was loud enough for everyone to hear. Fortunately, he managed to get his shut before he would have turned to stone.

Someone grabbed his wrist tightly, nearly cutting off Percy's circulation. "Look out!" Percy was thrown backwards, slamming into another body that cried out in alarm. There was a shout of pain, followed by the 'shink' of a blade and a harsh hiss that filled the air. Then everything was silent except for the heavy breathing.
