They quietly snuck through the institute doors, hoping that no one would hear the elevator. Unlucky for them, Simon and Robert were standing before the doors. Giving them a quizzical stare, Robert raised his hands, "Do I even want to know?"

"Jace pissed off Clary, she and Isabelle left to a bar and got wasted, then Clary was dancing on the bar when she was yanked down and some guy tried to get in her pants, until she kicked him into a wall knocking him unconscious. Oh, and then she fell over from all of the alcohol and fell into Jace." Magnus said nodding his head the whole time as she spoke.

Simon went over and grabbed Isabelle from Alec, as she was awkwardly resting on him. Picking her up, he carried her away and to her room.

As Simon was walking away, Luke walked down the hallway towards them. Jace closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he felt Clary's breath on his neck. It wasn't her breathing that bothered him though, it was the heat of her breath and lips as she left feather kisses along his neck. Nobody noticed this action by her, as she looked innocent, quite asleep, and comfortable.

Jace opened his eyes just before Luke met his gaze. "What the hell happened?"

"Clary's drunk," Jace simply answered, trying to keep his voice even.

"I can see that, and smell it too," Luke crunched his nose, "but why was she drinking?"

Jace gathered his breath, still trying to keep his voice even, "She was angry at me for something I had said unintentionally, and she went out. A vampire tried to sleep with her and she got pissed, and kicked his ass before she passed out on my arms."

Luke rubbed his temples, "Is she okay?" he asked concerned for his daughter's safety.

Jace nodded, not trusting his voice as Clary bit his neck. Magnus looked over at them and saw Clary's movements. Understanding what Jace was going through, he spoke for him. "Why don't you take Clary upstairs and put her to bed?"

Jace nodded and carried Clary away. Slipping through the people crowding them. When the two of them were out of sight, he heard the four men having a conversation about the night they had. Resting his back on the wall for a moment, he closed his eyes and sighed as he felt her teeth graze his neck again. Trying to be as silent as he could, he cleared his throat and began walking Clary back to her room.

Kicking the door shut lightly, Jace laid Clary down on the bed. He went to grab her night clothes only to have a hand grab his shirt and pull him back. Looking down at Clary he saw the beauty she had, even while drunk. Her bright green eyes were dancing as they pinned him. Her hair had fallen over her eyes, his hands were itching to move it away so he could clearly look at her beautiful eyes.

The hand that was gripping his shirt began pulling him closer. Sitting him on the bed, she sat up and got on his lap. Staring him in the eyes, she bit her cherry red lip. She brought her face closer to Jace's; unable to resist and staring at her lips, he closed the open space and smashed his mouth on hers.

Winding his fingers in her hair, he laid himself back against the bed. She was still straddling his hips, her knees pressed against the bed. He moved his hands down her back and put them in her back pockets, grabbing her, making her moan into his mouth. The corners of his mouth twitched up into a smirk. He was smirking until Clary ran her hands under his shirt, brushing her fingers over his abs and chest, only to yank his shirt over his head.

Moving her mouth to his neck she bit him, making him groan into her mouth. He felt the vibration on her chuckle in his throat. He flipped them around, putting her underneath him.

He could taste the tequila on her breath. It was so strong, it felt as if he were drinking it himself. Slowly he pulled his lips away from Clary's and looked down at her. His eyes filled with love, sadness, fear, and happiness. He was scared that she was going to get hurt out there, not knowing where she was. He felt as if it were his fault that she had gotten drunk. Of course he knew he wasn't the only factor it the situation, but he couldn't help but feel like he was to blame. The love he felt when he had seen her in the bar, safe. Words couldn't describe what he was feeling, he was just happy to have her back in his arms and safe.
