NOT AN UPDATE

So, i am working diligently on the last, this will be the last even if i have to make it 2,000 words, chapter, but in the meantime, i wanted to tell you some things about the re-write (and possible sequel if i can get my tired brain to come up with a plot).

So, a fun thing to expect is new scenes and longer chapters, including some more siblings being siblings, and a bit more going on between Fontaine and Finn, because we all know i basically forgot about them. And speaking of siblings being siblings, take a while guess on who's appearance is going to be moved way back...

If you guessed Will and Kaiko then you are correct. (if anyone asks, blame it on Finn)

Another would be new characters, some completely new and some will have a bit more screen time than currently (but some you haven't met yet). And, one of my favourite additions... New looks, cause currently the sirens look a bit like monochrome mermaids.

And that would be all, if you see this, i lost to my tired brain screaming about updating when the chapter isn't even complete.

But here's a fun little teaser anyway :

The glass cup shattered against the wall with a crash, and Finn felt somewhat happier as the shards fell to the floor, but then those sea bottle eyes where back and the hollowness in them was even greater than before. And another cup shattered against the wall.

Madeline was somewhat correct about the fact that smashing things was a great way to release pent up emotions.

Because gods forbid he pulled that banged-up trumpet from beneath his bed. He knew that if he did that, then those eyes would never let him rest.

And so, another cup was added to the pile.

"I see you took my advice", Madeline laughed as he shattered another, and then another, and another.

There was a pretty wine glass in the collection. That one went too,

And then the colourful shards hit the floor, and a flash of green filled the wall and he was back to the room and those enchanting eyes.

"Yeah, but it's not working", he covered his turmoil with a joking tone, and Madeline punched his shoulder.

"It always works". She also grabbed a glass and added it to the pile. "you're just not doing it right"

someone tell grammarly to stop screaming at me about all the tautology's, im aware and don't care
