"Lindsey," Stevie calls from the bathroom as she's getting ready for the Twister movie premier.

She was wearing a silk black tight-fitting blazer over a long black chiffon dress. The top of the dress, which peeked between the collar of the blazer and right above where it was buttoned tight against her abdomen was black sequined. She was currently deciding what pieces of jewelry to pair with it.

"Yes, Dear?" Lindsey asks walking into the bathroom.

"Hey, can you clip this on me and do you think...I mean we're getting married next weekend and everyone that's important knows about it, so I was thinking maybe we can...I don't know...wear our wedding rings?" She asks handing him the golden heart-shaped locket that Stella had gifted her Friday as an early mother's day gift because she left Friday night with her Riding team for an overnight national competition and they wouldn't be back until Monday morning.

"You know what I think would be a good idea. It can throw people off and make them think that we already got married." Lindsey nods.

She beams as she grabs the velvet box off of the bathroom counter. She slides the plain silver band on his finger and she hands him her two silver diamond bands. They're supposed to be an eternity band and a wedding band, but he slides them both on and she situates her engagement ring in front of them and she stands on her tippy toes and kisses him.

The carpet is bustling with people. and lights flashing. They sign autographs and take pictures with fans, but then they stop for a professional picture when they get to the interview portion and Stevie wraps her right arm around Lindsey's waist and places her left hand on his chest and people go nuts.

"So Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Am I right to say that congratulations are in order?" The woman questions.

"I guess you could say that yes." Lindsey smiles.

"So what was the point of this top-secret wedding I suspect that you guys had?"

"Well, we just wanted it to be our really close friends and family. Not many people at all." Stevie grins.

"But I would've just assumed that you of all people, Stevie, would have this big production of a marriage." She states.

"Well, I'm not...I'm not the same person I was before I had my kids. There was a giant shift in my life in the eighties when Lindsey and I got full custody of his three kids and I know that I used to have big New Years Parties, Christmas Parties, and Halloween Parties but when you have kids you just can't because bedtimes and going Trick or Treating and waiting for Santa are more important so I did a complete 180 and you know what...I kinda like it. Not to mention, our one-year-old, Lexa, was born on January 1st so I'd rather have a small party to celebrate her rather than the new year." Stevie smirks.

"So no big party then?" She asks.

"I don't know we haven't really talked about it." Stevie shrugs.

"Was it weird having a new year baby. Did you go into labor and like place bets on if she was going to be born on the first day of the year or the last day of the year.

"Um no, we didn't. I don't think I've ever talked about this actually so you're going to get a scoop. I got into a car accident in the middle of the night. We had actually been at a New Years Eve Party and we left and arrived separately because of kids and baby sitters you know. There was a drunk driver that hit my car and I ended up having to have an emergency c-section. I was so out of it that I don't even remember going in for surgery." Stevie explains.

"Oh my goodness I'm so sorry." The lady gets a sullen look.

"It's alright. I'm just glad that at the end of it all we both made it out okay...even if I have a nasty scar on my stomach." Stevie chuckles.

"I'm glad that they both made it out okay too." Lindsey kisses her head.

"Alright, so getting down to business. Who approached who for the song and how did they manage to get both of you?"

"Well Jan, the director approached me because he liked what I had done for National Lampoons Vacation. I worked on multiple things for months and I couldn't find a song that I felt worked for it but then just out of the corner of my eye, I saw that Stevie had left out one of her songbooks and normally I don't snoop through her stuff but the poem was perfect. Absolutely perfect and then I asked her to record it together." Lindsey explains.

"It really is a beautiful song. Thanks for talking to us."

May 18th

Staring out their balcony at the scene below her, Stevie felt fluttery and happy. The trees in their backyard were covered with twinkling lights, there was a white carpet leading from their back door towards the little clearing in the back yard behind the pool. The chairs were black with white padded seats. There was an arch covered in red and white roses. There was a priest standing next to Lindsey under the arch, their families and friends were sitting in the chairs. And their girls were lined up wearing sleek black chiffon dresses carrying bouquets of red and white roses. She was dressed in a white poofy gown with a tan blazer over it wearing her tan high heeled boots. Her hair was curly and pulled up into a half up half down bun and she was excited. Excited to be marrying Lindsey Buckingham. He was standing there wearing a pair of jeans and some black boots. He had a white teeshirt on his and a black blazer and he looked as handsome as ever.

She never thought she'd marry that man. And maybe she wouldn't have wanted to if they hadn't of gotten custody of the kids, and if they hadn't of had two children together and she swore when they met back in the eighties that this is the life she wanted but only dreamed about, never thinking it was actually going to happen.

Her dad knocked on the door and she smiled knowing that in a matter of moments she was going to be Mrs. Stephanie Buckingham.
