Constantine watched as the seagull flapped her wings, squawking eagerly as she fluttered through the barrier. The air around the island rippled as she slipped through the magic, the crack closing and not to open again until the same sacrifice they had made before, had been made again. It had taken Constantine days to figure out that one could not cross to Isle Saero if they meant harm, and Constantine and his men intended to cause a lot of harm. It had also cost them a painstaking two days to figure out that one had to kill another to gain entry.

Mordecai had argued until he was blue in the face that he should be the one to enter into Saero, insisting he would drag Evander back by his hair if he had to and slaughter anyone who got into his way. Constantine wasn't stupid, he knew his brother could kill anyone who dared to cross him, but the island was filled to the brim with supernaturals who would see them dead. The numerous boats his scouts had spied travelling to the island said as much, so they had settled on a sending Spanish shifter to the island in his place. Tanith.

The worms are beginning a rebellion. Constantine grimaced, so be it. He'd kill every man, woman and child who dared to question his people's supremacy or his father's rule, and he would take particular pleasure in seeing Evander Aetos punished by his brother and father for betraying his own people. Honestly, Constantine knew Evander was a pretty little thing, a fine object to have on one's arm and to decorate your home with, but he had proven to be a treacherous little snake from the minute he had gotten engaged to his younger brother. Mordecai had plenty of things in store for the boy, he knew that much.

Mordecai joined him on the shoreline, running a hand through his hair as he flexed his back. Evander's eldest brother, Pericles, joined them, his eyes wary. Constantine didn't know if he trusted him totally, but the man had killed anyone Constantine had told him to, he just didn't know if Pericles's morals included bringing his own little brother to justice.

"Agh!" The seagull landed ungracefully in the sand, the feathers falling out one by one as the bird grew into a large, olive skinned woman, her naked form hidden in the shadow of the night.

"Tanith," Constantine smiled, lapping up the view of the naked shifter before him. The woman smiled, enjoying the attention.

"Oh do I have some news for you, in particular, for your brother." The shifter grinned, sliding on the robe Pericles handed to her.

"Evander? You've seen my fiancée?" Mordecai narrowed his eyes, his blood boiling. The last time he had seen Evander had been the night the brat hit him over the head and left him bleeding, after rejecting Mordecai's advances that he was more entitled to make. The final straw had been when Evander stole into the night, with dragons, and willingly.

"Is my brother okay?" Pericles asked, eyebrows creased in worry.

"Oh he's more than okay," Tanith smirked, "in fact, I saw him not five minutes ago, kissing the Dragon Lord, Abel Drake, and from what I overheard, they've been doing far more than just that."

Pericles's blood ran cold, he turned to Mordecai whose face had morphed into a terrifying mask of pure rage.

"HE WHAT?" Mordecai bellowed so loud even Constantine jumped.

Tanith shrugged nonchalantly, "They've clearly been fucking, actually, I just heard them agree to be...what was it? Boyfriends?" She smirked.

Mordecai roared, Constantine had never seen him so angry, the Gods had never seen him so angry. He backed away, dragging Pericles with him as Mordecai flew into a rage, his hands smashing into a palm tree and tearing it from its roots, before sending it hurtling down the beach, the tree landing with a crash, sending a spray of sand in the air. He did it again, and again, until the beach was littered with a graveyard of trees, the roots standing jagged and torn.
