After a long night of celebrating her victory, (Y/n) went to bed, pulling out her phone. She opened up her photos, looking at when she first learned how to create forcefields and then steppingstones. There was also a photo of when she accidentally blasted the statue's head off at her grandparents' house... She immediately thought, Oh crap.
She pulled up Bakugo's contact sending him a text about the statue:
(Y/n): Hey, can I come over to get the statue head tomorrow? I completely forgot about it.
After a few minutes, her phone dinged with a reply:
Katsuki: Sure, just don't forget, idiot.
(Y/n): Hey, you forgot, too.
Katsuki: Shut up.
After that short text conversation, she threw her phone down and rolled over in her bed, falling asleep shortly after that.
The next day, (Y/n) woke up around eight in the morning, grabbing a granola bar and letting her parents know where she was going.
"Wait, Katsuki?" her dad asked as she was grabbing her bag.
"Yeah, the statue's head flew into his yard," (Y/n) explained, the bar hanging from her mouth.
"That's really far, (Y/n)," her dad commented, shaking his head. "Are you sure you're going to be able to control your quirk? Cause if not--"
"Dad, I'll be fine," she reassured her dad, saying goodbye and walking out the door.
(Y/n) munched on her granola bar while walking to Bakugo's house, but she couldn't help but think about the match the previous day. How that second form felt, the power, the energy, all of it. Before she knew it, she was already at Bakugo's gate, entering it and going up to the door, knocking on it.
"Katsuki, get the door!" his mother screamed.
"Shut up, you hag! You get it!" Bakugo retorted.
"I'll get it!" His dad sighed, opening the door. "Oh hey, (Y/n). What're you doing here?"
