I had a dream we were at some ice skating place that an owl flew us to and I met this girl whose aunt was always calling her a slut and we were going to hang out when I saw kai, cap, and damiar. And I said "wow is that THE kaiisyourhom- omhygod why did I just say that" as I ran away and this man fucking CHASES me and I dunno what happened after that but I do remember flicking the girl I just met off because she didn't help me run away. So yeah that happened. Then I woke up to the baby crying and fell back asleep and had a dream I was talking to my ex best friend and I wish it was real :(

I woke up at like ten o'clock and just laid back down until I got a phone call.
"Hello?" I said groggily and accidentally woke up Kai.
"Who's that-"
"WHOS THAT?!" Aviva screamed in my ear after hearing Kai's voice.
"Jesus Christ Aviva calm down, it's just Kai. What's up?" I said standing up and going to my closet.
"Ohh sorry,"she said dragging out the 'y', "are you ever coming back to school?" Fuck I forgot about school.
"I mean, yeah, but not today. I'm super tired."
"I wonder why"
"It's not like that, ya nasty. Anyway, are you at school right now?" She hummed a yes. "Okay well, wanna come over after school? I miss youuuu"
"How about I'll be over in fifteen minutes? I'll fake a stomach ache or something-"
"Avivaaaa noooo! Your gonna get in trouble with your parents!" And then she hung up on me.
I grabbed some clothes and looked over at Kai who was back asleep. I still went into the bathroom to change though. I woke up Kai by poking his cheek over and over again. "Stooooppp I'm awake!"
"Good. Avivas coming over."
"Ah shit I wanna see her but I have to work in like an hour."
"Damn it I thought we'd have the whole gang together. Well I go back tomorrow and I think Aviva does too so we'll be okay."
He nodded and grabbed his things and brushed his hair really quickly. "I'll walk home-"
"No no no, I'll take you."
"What about Aviva?"
"She knows where the spare house key is." We headed out to my car and I drove him back to his house.
The whole ride was silent and awkward. I wanted to talk about what happened last night but I was too nervous. I didn't wanna make it weird between us. Especially since I already like him..and I liked the kiss...
I got back home and walked in to see Aviva sitting on the couch watching some anime I've never seen before. "Hey Aviva" she jumped a little.
"You scared me! Where did you go?"
"I went to take Kai home, he has work."
She sighed. "I wanted to see him," she wined as she slumped down in her seat.
"We'll see him tomorrow," I rolled my eyes and sat next to her.
We talked for a while about what was going on in school while I was gone and she told me about some other stuff that happened. "So what's been going on with you? I know you're not tired or sick so spill the tea." I sighed. I guess I should tell her, she's my best friend plus maybe she could help.
"Well last night Kai stayed over and at about 1 am someone was knocking on the door, then later Kai came to get me and told me Caleb fucking Finn was here-"
"Caleb Finn?! What did he want?!"
"Let me finishhh! He wanted to talk about 'us', and said he wanted to get back together or something. But Kai saved my ass and we pretended that we were dating."
She scoffed,"I wouldn't believe that for a second."
"Caleb didn't. So I kissed Kai..." She stared at me in shock for a second.
"Y-You what?!"
"I...I kissed him." S
he shook her head. "Oh my god. What did he think?"
"I have no idea. He joked about it once Caleb left but he knew what just happened was serious so he didn't take it any further. Aviva..."
"Yes?"
"I really like Kai, like in a 'romantic' way..."
She nodded and took my hands in hers,"it's okay y/n. I'm sure he likes you back, you just need to talk to him about it."
"What if he doesn't like me back?" I asked blinking back tears at the thought of rejection.
"Then you'll have to move on.."
